John Deere 3039R Periodic Maintenance

Every Ten Hours or Daily

Engine oil level checking. If the engine oil level is low, fill in fresh oil.

Check transmission fluid level. If the transmission fluid is too low, add it.

Checking cab recirculation air filter. Part number: MIU10011. Replace if necessary.

Check the coolant level in cooling system. If the coolant level is low, top it up.

Check engine idle speed, steering, service brakes and hand brake. If you found a problem, fix it.

Every 50 Hours

Inspect cab fresh filter. Part number - MIU10010. Clean or change every 50 hours and as required.

Inspect all tires. Inflate tires if necessary.

Test battery charging. If the charge level is low, charge the battery.

Checking the oil in front axle. Add if required.

Check hydraulic system fluid level. Add oil to hydraulic system if necessary.

Lubricate the front axle bearing assembly.

Check front and rear wheels. Tighten bolts and nuts as required.

Every 200 hours

Changing engine oil. Recommended engine oil type: Plus-50. Lubricating system capacity - 4.3 L (1.14 gal). Check engine oil level after replacement.

Replace oil filter. Oil filter part number: M806419. When installing a new filter, flush the filter housing from dirt. After installing a new filter, check the oil level. Add oil if it is low.

Engine primary air filter elements checking and replacement. Air filter element part number: RE68048.

Inspect the secondary air filter element and clean or replace if necessary. Part number: RE68049.

Clean the radiator grill from dirt and dust.

Check alternator/fan belt wear. Replace worn belt.

Check the torque of the wheel bolts.

Every 400 Hours

Replace engine primary fuel filter. Engine fuel filter part number: MIU802421.

Replace engine final fuel filter. Engine final fuel filter part number: MIU803127. Check diesel fuel pump operation.

Transmission/hydraulic oil change. Transmission/hydraulic oil type - Hy-Gard. Transmission/hydraulic system capacity: 25.7 L (6.8 gal). Add transmission fluid to the upper mark on the dipstick.

Changing transmission/hydraulic oil filter. Hydraulic/transmission filter element part number - LVA13065. When the filter is replaced, check the hydraulic oil level. Add fluid if necessary.

Check the diesel particulate filter. Change if required. Part number: MIU803232.

Check the coolant in cooling system. Top up if coolant is low.

Check engine low idle speed. If necessary, adjust the engine idle speed.

Check the hoses and tubes. Tighten if necessary.

Change front axle oil.

Check and adjust the parking and service brakes.

Change filter and engine oil. Check and clean the oil system.

Change primary and secondary air cleaner elements.

Change hydraulic/transmission filter and add fresh oil to hydraulic system.

Drain water from fuel tank, then change the engine primary and final fuel filters.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Drain, flush and refill engine cooling system. Cooling system capacity: Cab - 7 L (1.85 gal), OOS - 5.3 L (1.40 gal).

Check all clamps hoses and hoses.

Check battery electrolyte level.

Adjust engine valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust fuel injectors.
