John Deere 5093E Service Intervals

Every 10 Hours or Daily

Engine oil level checking. If after checking the oil level is low, add it.

Check transmission oil level. When transmission oil is low, add recommended volume.

Checking air filter. Install a new filter if required.

Check the coolant level. If the coolant level is too low, fill the system.

Check engine idle speed, steering system, service brakes and parking brake. Repair any damage if necessary.

Every 50 Hours

Check tire pressure. If necessary, inflate the tires.

Check the battery. Clean if required.

Checking the oil in front axle. Top up as necessary.

Check fluid in hydraulic system. Add oil if necessary.

Lubricate the front axle bearing assembly.

Check tractor for loose or lost nuts and screws.

Every 300 hours

Changing cab recirculation air filter. Cab filter part number - RE195491 (R198887 w/o a.c. air filter).

Check, clean or replace the cab fresh air filter. Part number - RE198488.

Change engine fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - RE522868. Check the operation of injection pump.

Replace engine oil. Recommended engine oil type: Plus-50 II. How much is required: Oil capacity - 8.5 L (2.24 gal). Add oil to the upper mark on the dipstick.

Changing oil filter. Filter part number - RE504836. Before replacing, remove dirt from the filter housing. When installation is complete, check the oil level. If after checking the oil level is low, add it.

Clean the radiator grill from dust and dirt.

Check and adjust the engine fan/alternator belt tension. Replace belt if worn.

Check the tightening torque of the hub bolts.

Every 600 Hours

Replace transmission/hydraulic oil. Recommended fluid type: Hy-Gard. How much to add - 43.5 L (11.5 gal). After replacing the transmission/hydraulic fluid, check the level with a dipstick.

Perform transmission/hydraulic filter element replacement. Part number of hydraulic filter: RE45864/RE197065. After installation, checking the transmission/hydraulic oil level is recommended. If necessary, add it.

Check cooling system for leaks. Add coolant if necessary.

Check engine idling. If necessary, adjust the idle speed on the engine.

Inspect all fittings and hoses. Tighten as recommended.

Change front axle fluid.

Check brake adjustment.

Change engine oil and filter. Check and clean the lubrication system.

Change engine primary and secondary air filter. Primary filter part number - KV16429/RE253518. Secondary filter part number - AT171854/RE253519. Change after every 1800 hours or annually.

Replace hydraulic/transmission filter and fluid.

Change the fuel filter by first drain water from fuel tank.

Clean oil cooler fins and radiator.

Flush the cooling system and refill with new coolant. Cooling system capacity: 11.4 L (3 gal).

Inspect all clamps hoses and hoses.

Check battery charging.

Adjust engine valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust fuel injectors.
