Tractor engine starting problems

Fuel tank is empty - Add gasoline.
Wrong fuel grade - Use correct fuel grade.
Stale gasoline - Drain fuel and add fresh.

Faulty spark plug wire - Install new spark plug wires.
Faulty spark plug - Check ignition spark.
Fuel filter is plugged - Fuel filter needs to be replaced.
Faulty safety switch - Change damaged switch.
Carburetor is clogged - Clean the carburetor.
Check starter cranking RPM. Test compression.

Gas engine starts hard

Spark plug fail - Inspect the spark, replace if necessary.

Dirt in fuel lines - Remove clogging from fuel pipes.
Choke cable not adjusted properly - Checking and adjusting.
Old or improper fuel - Pour quality gasoline.

Rough running engine

Starter doesn't work or will not turn engine

Main fuse defective - Check and replace.
Terminals are severely corroded and heat up - Clean terminals.
Battery discharged - Charge the battery.
Ignition lock defective - Replace switch.
Starter is damaged - Change the starter.
Wiring disconnected - Reconnect wires.

Battery does not charge

Faulty cell in battery - Fit new battery.

Belt Slipping

Mower vibrates

Blade strips grass

Wrong cutting height - adjust cutting height.

High blade speed during mowing - Correct blades speed.

Uneven cutting results

Mower deck not level - Leveling the mower deck.
