Kubota L3540HST Maintenance Intervals

Every 10 Hours or Daily Inspection

Check the engine oil level. If after checking the engine oil level is low, top it up.

Transmission/hydraulic fluid level checking procedure. When transmission/hydraulic fluid is low, add fresh oil.

Check engine air filters. Replace if necessary.

Check the coolant level. If the coolant level is low, top it up.

Check engine idling, steering system, parking brake and service brakes. Repair any damage if necessary.

Oil And Filter Change

Every 100 Hours

Clean engine air filter elements. Replace as required.

Service fuel filter. Replace if necessary.

Lubricate the front axle wheel bearings. Oil Type: SAE 80W-90.

Every 200 Hours

Engine oil change. Recommended oil type: SAE20, SAE30 or SAE 10W-30. API Service CC or CD. Lubricating system capacity (Kubota D1803-M-E2): 7.1 qts (6.7 L). Add oil to the upper mark on the dipstick.

Replace engine oil filter. Filter part number - HH164-32430. When changing the filter, clean the dirt inside the filter housing. When installation is complete, check the oil level. Add oil if it is low.

Change hydraulic filter. Hydraulic filter element part number - HHTA0-37710. When the filter element is replaced, check the transmission/hydraulic fluid level. Add oil if required.

Change hydrostatic transmission filter. HST filter part number: HHTA0-59900. When installation is complete, check the transmission/hydraulic fluid level. Add oil if necessary.

Every 400 Hours

Replace engine primary air filter element. Air filter part number - TA040-93230.

Replace engine secondary air filter element. Part number - TA040-93220.

Replace fuel filter. Fuel filter element part number: 15521-43160. Check the correct operation of diesel fuel pump.

Changing transmission/hydraulic fluid. Transmission/hydraulic oil type - Kubota UDT, Kubota Super UDT. Oil capacity: 11.1 gal (42.2 L). After changing the transmission/hydraulic fluid, check the level with a dipstick.

Front axle fluid change. Front axle Oil: SAE 80W-90. Front axle capacity: 6.9 qts (6.5 L).

Change engine oil and filter. Check and clean the oil system.

Drain water from fuel tank, then replace the fuel filter.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Flush the cooling system and add fresh coolant. Cooling system capacity: 7.9 qts (7.5 L).

Inspect all clamps hoses and hoses.

Check level of battery electrolyte.

Check engine valve clearance.

Check and adjust fuel injectors.
