Massey Ferguson 1035 Service Intervals

Every Ten Hours or Daily

Engine oil level checking procedure. If the oil level is too low, add new oil.

Transmission fluid level checking. When the transmission fluid is low, fill the required volume.

Checking air filter element. Install a new filter if required.

Check coolant level in radiator. If the coolant level is low, top it up.

Check engine idling, steering system, service brakes and parking brake. If malfunctions are found, repair it.

Every 50 Hours

Check and inflate tires as required.

Check the battery. Clean if required.

Checking the oil in front axle. Add if required.

Check oil in hydraulic system. Add oil to hydraulic system if necessary.

Lubricate front and rear axle hub bearings.

Inspect tractor for loose nuts and bolts.

Every 200 hours

Replace fuel filter. Fuel filter element part number: 72098616 (Spin-on). Check injection pump settings.

Change engine oil. Recommended oil type - 10W-30, 15W-40, 20W-40. Engine oil capacity: 3.7 qt (3.5 L). After completing the filling procedure, check motor oil level.

Change engine oil filter. Engine oil filter part number: 72118856. Before installing a new filter, clean the filter housing from clogging. When the filter is replaced, check the oil level. If required, add it.

Changing transmission/hydraulic fluid. Recommended transmission/hydraulic oil: Permatran 821XL, SAE 10W-30. How much is required: Oil Capacity - 9.2 gal (35 L). After installing a new filter, check that the transmission/hydraulic oil level is correct.

Replace filter element in hydraulic system. Hydraulic filter element part number - 3435446M1 (Spin-on). After installation, checking the hydraulic fluid level is recommended. Add hydraulic fluid if it is low.

Front axle lubricant change. Front Axle Oil Capacity - 3.36 qt (3.2 L).

Clean the radiator grill from dust and dirt.

Check fan/alternator belt tension. Adjust if necessary.

Check wheel bolt torque.

Every 400 Hours

Checking engine primary air filter elements. Air filter part number - 1031436M91. Replace if required.

Check the engine secondary air filter element and change if required. Part number - 773101M2.

Check cooling system for leaks. Top up if coolant is low.

Check engine idle speeds. If necessary, adjust the idle speed on the engine.

Check the hoses and fittings. Tighten as recommended.

Check and adjust the brake system components.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Flush the cooling system and add new coolant. Cooling System Capacity - 4.2 qt (4.0 L).

Check all clamps hoses and hoses.

Check level of battery electrolyte.

Check and adjust valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust diesel injection pump.
