Massey Ferguson 1135 Maintenance Intervals
Every Ten Hours or Daily Inspection
Engine oil level checking procedure. If after checking the oil level is
low, add it.
Transmission/hydraulic oil level checking procedure. When the
transmission/hydraulic fluid is low, fill the required volume.
Check engine primary/secondary air filters. Replace with a new one if
necessary.
Check radiator coolant level. If the coolant level is low, top it up.
Check engine speed, steering system, service brakes and hand brake.
Repair any malfunctions if necessary.
Oil And Filter Change
Every 200 hours
Change engine oil. Engine oil type - SAE20, 20W-20. API service
classification MS, DM. How much is needed: Engine Oil Capacity - 4.3 gal
(16.3 L). After replacing the engine oil, check the level with a
dipstick.
Replace engine oil filter. Filter part number - 1447031M2. Before
installing a new filter, clean the filter housing from clogging. After
installation, checking the oil level is recommended. If necessary, add
it.
Clean engine primary air filter element. Change if necessary. Air filter
part number - 1041845M91.
Service engine secondary air filter element. Replace as required. Part
number - 1041846M91.
Service cab air filter. Replace if necessary. Cab air filter part
number: 529760M1.
Replace diesel fuel filter. Engine fuel filter part number: 836218V92.
Check the efficiency of fuel injection pump.
Every 750 hours
Change transmission/hydraulic fluid. Fluid type - Permatran, M-1127. How
much to fill: Transmission/Hydraulic Oil Capacity - 22 gal (83.2 L).
Fill with the new transmission/hydraulic fluid up to the upper notch on
the dipstick.
Replacing transmission oil filter element. Transmission filter part
number: 586854V1. After installation, checking the
transmission/hydraulic fluid level is recommended. If after checking the
oil level is low, add it.
Replace filter element in hydraulic line. Hydraulic filter part number:
516069M94. When installation procedure is complete, check the
transmission/hydraulic oil level. If required, add it.
Front axle oil change. Front Axle Oil Type - Permatran.

Change engine oil and filter. Check and clean the lubrication system.
Install a new engine air cleaner elements.
Change hydraulic/transmission fluid.
Replace hydraulic filter element.
Change transmission filter element.
Change cab air filter.
Replace the fuel filter by first drain water from fuel tank.
Clean oil cooler fins and radiator.
Drain, flush and refill cooling system. Cooling System Capacity - 22 qt
(20.8 L).
Inspect all hoses and clamps.
Check battery charging.
Check engine valve clearance.
Inspect and adjust diesel injection pump.
