Massey Ferguson 210 Service Intervals

Every Ten Hours or Daily

Engine oil level checking procedure. If the engine oil level is low, fill in fresh oil.

Transmission/hydraulic oil level checking procedure. When the transmission/hydraulic fluid is low, fill the required volume.

Check engine air filters. Install a new filter elements if necessary.

Check the coolant level. If the coolant level is low, top it up.

Check idle engine speed, steering unit, hand brake and service brakes. Repair any damage if required.

Every 50 Hours

Check tyre pressure. If the tyre pressure is low, inflate the tyres.

Check battery charge. Charge the battery if necessary.

Check front axle oil level. Add if required.

Lubricate the front axle wheel bearings.

Inspect the rear and front wheels. Tighten nuts and bolts as required.

Every 100 hours

Changing engine oil. Recommended engine oil type: SAE 20, 20W, API service classification SB, SE, CF, CC. Engine oil capacity: 5.0 qt (4.7 L). After adding engine oil, check the level with a dipstick.

Replacing engine oil filter. Filter part number - 72118856. Before replacing, remove dirt from the filter housing. When installation is complete, check the oil level. Add oil if necessary.

Engine air filter elements checking. Replace as required. Engine primary air filter part number: 1031436M91. Engine secondary air filter part number: 773101M2.

Checking hydraulic oil in system. Add oil to hydraulic system if necessary.

Every 200 hours

Clean radiator grill from dirt.

Inspect the alternator/fan belt and adjust the belt tension if necessary.

Check the tightening torque of the front and rear hub bolts.

Every 400 Hours

Change engine fuel filter. Fuel filter element part number: 72098616 (Spin-on). Check diesel fuel pump settings.

Check engine idling. Adjust if necessary.

Check the tubes and hoses. Tighten as required.

Every 500 Hours

Replace transmission/hydraulic oil. Transmission/hydraulic fluid type - Permatran 821XL, SAE 10W-30. Transmission/Hydraulic Fluid Capacity - 5.5 gal (21.0 L). After completing the filling procedure, check transmission oil level.

Check the coolant in cooling system. Top up if coolant is low.

Change front axle fluid. Front Axle Capacity - 0.45 gal (1.7 L). Front Axle Oil - Permatran.

Check brake adjustment.

Change engine oil and filter. Service oil system components.

Replace engine air filter elements.

Change transmission/hydraulic fluid.

Change the fuel filter by first drain water from fuel tank.

Clean oil cooler fins and radiator.

Flush the cooling system and add new coolant. Cooling System Capacity - 5.3 qt (5.0 L).

Check all clamps hoses and hoses.

Check battery charging.

Adjust engine valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust diesel fuel pump.
