Massey Ferguson 275 Service Intervals

Every 10 Hours or Daily

Engine oil level checking. If after checking the engine oil level is low, top it up.

Transmission/hydraulic fluid level checking. When transmission/hydraulic oil is low, add recommended volume.

Engine engine air filters checking. Install a new filter elements if necessary.

Check coolant level in radiator. If the coolant level is low, add it.

Check engine idling, steering unit, service brakes and parking brake. Repair any malfunctions if necessary.

Every 50 Hours

Checking the air pressure of tyres. Inflate if required.

Check the battery. Clean if required.

Checking the oil in front axle. Top up as necessary.

Check fluid level in the hydraulic tank. Fill the hydraulic system as required.

Lubricate the rear and front wheel bearings.

Check rear and front wheels. Tighten nuts and bolts as required.

Every 200 hours

Change engine oil. Recommended engine oil: SAE 20, 20W. API service classification SE, SF, CC, CA. How much to add: Engine Oil Capacity: 8.0 qt (7.6 L). Check motor oil level after changing.

Changing oil filter. Filter part number - 1447048M2 (Gas/Diesel), 1447082M2 (Perkins AD4.203 Diesel). When replace the filter, flushing the housing is necessary. Check the oil level after installing a new filter. If necessary, add it.

Engine air filter elements checking. Replace as required. Engine primary air filter part number: 1042216M92. Engine secondary air filter part number: 1039045M92.

Inspect cab air filter. Replace as required. Part number: 1902803M91.

Clean the radiator with a brush if the fins are dirty.

Inspect and adjust alternator/fan belt. Replace if belt is worn.

Check wheel bolt torque.

Every 500 Hours

Steering fluid filter replacement. Steering filter element part number: 1662566V1. When installation is complete, check the steering fluid level. Add oil if necessary. Steering Oil Capacity - 1.0 qt (0.9 L).

Replace diesel fuel filter. Fuel filter element part number: 3405419V1 (Diesel), 521251M92 (Gas).

Check radiator coolant. Top up if coolant is low.

Check engine idling. If necessary, adjust the engine idle speed.

Check the hoses and tubes. Tighten if necessary.

Check brake adjustment.

Every 750 Hours

Change hydraulic/transmission oil. Oil type - Permatran 821XL, SAE 10W-30. Transmission/Hydraulic Oil Capacity - 8.0 gal (30.3 L). After filling, check the hydraulic/transmission fluid level with a dipstick.

Replace hydraulic filter. Hydraulic filter element part number - 1053870M91/1060005M92 (Spin-on), 1687042V91 Element (Lift Pump). When the filter element is replaced, check the hydraulic/transmission fluid level. If required, add it.

Change front axle oil. Steering Oil Type - Permatran.

Check the hoses and tubes. Tighten if necessary.

Install a new engine air cleaner elements.

Change transmission/hydraulic fluid.

Change hydraulic filter.

Replace steering fluid and steering filter.

Drain water from fuel tank and change fuel filters.

Clean oil cooler fins and radiator.

Flush the cooling system and refill with new coolant. Cooling System Capacity - 11 qt (10.5 L).

Check all hoses and clamps.

Check and service the battery.

Check engine valve clearance.
