Massey Ferguson 3065 Maintenance Intervals

Every Ten Hours or Daily Inspection

Check the engine oil level. If the oil level is too low, fill in new oil.

Check hydraulic/transmission fluid level. If the hydraulic/transmission fluid is too low, fill the required volume.

Check engine air filter elements. Replace if necessary.

Check coolant level in radiator. If the coolant level is too low, fill the system.

Check engine speed, steering unit, hand brake and service brakes. Repair any malfunctions if necessary.

Oil And Filter Change

Every 250 hours

Changing engine oil. Recommended oil - SAE 10W-30, 15W-30, 15W-40. API service classification SE, SF, SG, CC, CD, CF. How much to fill: Engine Oil Capacity - 7.2 qt (6.7 L). Add oil to the upper mark on the dipstick.

Engine oil filter replacement. Oil filter part number: 1447048M2. Before replacement procedure, clean the filter housing from dirt. After installation, checking the oil level is recommended. If necessary, add it.

Check engine air filter elements. Change if necessary. Engine primary air filter part number: 1062501V91. Engine secondary air filter part number: 70257029.

Check cab air filter element and change if necessary. Part number - 3388840V2/3389746M1 (Carbon).

Every 500 hours

Change hydraulic filter. Hydraulic filter part number: 3581032M2/4303303M1. Check the hydraulic/transmission oil level after installing a new filter element. Add fluid if required.

Replace engine fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - 3405419V1. Check injection pump adjustments.

Every 1000 hours

Transmission/hydraulic oil change. Recommended oil type: M-1127, M-1135, M-1139, M-1144, SAE 10W-30, 15W-30. API Service Category: CE, CG-4, GL-4, SF. How much to pour: Oil Capacity - 15.9 gal (60.1 L). After filling, check the hydraulic/transmission oil level with a dipstick.

Replace steering oil filter. Steering filter element part number - 3619594V1 (6 inch) / 3799315M1 (8 inch). Check the steering fluid level after installing a new filter. Add fluid if necessary.

Front axle oil change. Front Axle Oil Capacity: 6.3 qt (5.9 L). Front Axle Oil Type - Permatran, 80W-90.

Change filter and engine oil. Check and clean the lubrication system.

Change engine primary/secondary air filter elements.

Install a new hydraulic filter and pour in fresh hydraulic/transmission fluid.

Replace steering filter and fluid.

Drain water from fuel tank and change fuel filter.

Replace cab air filter.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Drain, flush and refill cooling system. Cooling System Capacity - 18 (17.1 L).

Inspect all clamps hoses and hoses.

Check battery charging.

Check engine valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust fuel injectors.
