Massey Ferguson 365 Maintenance Intervals

Every 10 Hours or Daily Checks

Check motor oil level. If after checking the engine oil level is low, top it up.

Check the transmission/hydraulic oil level. When the transmission/hydraulic fluid is low, add fresh oil.

Checking engine primary air filter. Replace if necessary.

Inspect engine secondary air filter. Replace if necessary.

Check radiator coolant level. If the coolant level is low, top it up.

Check engine idling, steering, service brakes and hand brake. If damages are found, repair it.

Oil And Filter Change

Every 250 hours

Changing engine oil. Recommended oil type: SAE 10W-30, 15W-40, 20W-40. API service classification SE, SF, CC, CD. How much to change: Engine Oil Capacity - 8 qt (7.5 L). After changing the oil, check the level with a dipstick.

Replacing engine oil filter. Filter part number - 1447048M2. Flush the filter housing before the filter element replacement procedure. When the filter is replaced, check the oil level. If after checking the oil level is low, add it.

Inspect cab air filter element. Clean as required. Part number - 3478327V1/3614023V91.

Engine air filter elements checking. Service as required. Engine primary air filter part number: 3595500V1/3595503V1. Engine secondary air filter part number: 3595501V1.

Every 500 Hours

Replace fuel filter. Fuel filter element part number: 3405419V1. Check the efficiency of injection pump.

Steering filter replacement. Steering oil filter element part number: 1662566V1. When installation is complete, check the steering oil level. Add fluid if necessary. Steering Oil Type - Permatran. Steering Oil Capacity - 1.26 qt (1.20 L).

Change front axle fluid. Front Axle Oil Capacity - 1.3 gal (5.0 L), Front Hubs - 2.5 qt (2.4 L).

Every 1000 hours

Changing transmission/hydraulic fluid. Recommended oil: Permatran 3, SAE 10W-30. How much to add: Transmission/Hydraulic Oil Capacity: w/ Spacer - 12.5 gal (47.4 L), w/o Spacer - 11.5 gal (43.4 L). After changing the transmission/hydraulic oil, check the level with a dipstick.

Change hydraulic filter. Part number of hydraulic filter: 3595175M1 (Spin-on), Aux. Hydraulics 3800305V91 (Element). When installation procedure is complete, check the transmission/hydraulic oil level. Add fluid if necessary.

Replacing cab air filter. Cab air filter part number - 3478327V1/3614023V91.

Change filter and engine oil. Check and clean the oil system.

Replace engine primary and secondary air cleaner elements.

Change transmission/hydraulic oil.

Replace hydraulic filter.

Replace steering filter element and change steering oil.

Change the fuel filter, but drain water from fuel tank first.

Install a new cab air filter.

Clean oil cooler fins and radiator.

Drain, flush and refill cooling system. Cooling System Capacity - 4 gal (15.1 L).

Inspect all clamps hoses and hoses.

Check battery charging.

Adjust engine valve clearance.

Check and adjust fuel injectors.
