Engine starts up hard or won't start: Fuel filter element is dirty. Service or replace the filter. Air in fuel system. Bleed fuel system. Fuel injection nozzles are damaged or dirty. Change fuel injection nozzles. Fuel injection pump malfunctioning. Rebuild or replace pump.

Engine shuts off suddenly while running: Wrong setting of fuel injection pump timing. Adjust according to specifications. Fuel filter element clogging. Replace the filter element. Engine is not fully warmed up. Warm up the engine.

Engine starts and stops suddenly: Fuel filter plugging. Replace the filter element. Fuel injection pump malfunctioning. Install a new pump or rebuild. Air filter plugged. Clean or change the filter.

Engine overheating: Dirty radiator fins or defective radiator cap. Change cap or clean radiator. Coolant level is low. Add coolant and check the components of cooling system. Fan belt is loose or defective. Install new fan belt. Engine oil level is insufficient. Fill up the oil to required level.

Engine power is too low: Fuel injection nozzles are dirty or defective. If necessary, replace with a new nozzle. Restricted fuel lines or hoses. Service fuel lines and hoses. Transmission fluid is too hot: Excessive loading. Load needs to be reduced. Damaged or clogged cooling components. Check all cooling components and clean or replace if required. Insufficient transmission fluid. Add fluid to the transmission housing. Transmission oil filter element clogging. Service or replace the transmission oil filter.

Lack of power: Low fluid level. Add fluid to the transmission housing. Defective relief valve. Replace relief valve as required. Defective or not adjusted speed control pedal linkage. Adjust or install new linkage.

Transmission oil leakage: Clogged oil drain line. Clean or replace drain line. Broken seals or gaskets. Change defective seal or gaskets. Transmission case internal pressure is too high. Repair or replace damaged components.
