Bucket/attachment should rest against carrier plates. Lower loader completely to the ground and shut off tractor
engine. Lower latch handles to engage pins with latches on bucket/attachment. Start tractor engine. Tilt bucket/attachment forward (extent bucket cylinders) and apply down pressure on bucket/attachment against ground to verify that pins are fully engaged in latches.

If bucket/attachment is not securely attached to the skid steer carrier, repeat first seven steps. Lower H165 loader to the ground and shut off tractor engine. Before connecting coupler halves make sure that fittings are free of dirt and debris. If equipped with hydraulic operated attachment (grapple bucket): Connect hydraulic hoses as follows: Shut off tractor engine and remove key. Move control lever(s) back and forth and side-to-side (if applicable) several times to relieve system pressure. Push and hold collar on female coupler. Insert male coupler.
