Kubota L4060 Engine Troubleshooting

Engine stalls after starting: Fuel filter element is clogged. Service or replace the filter. Fuel injection pump is defective. Repair or install new pump. Air filter plugged. Service air cleaner.

Engine is overheated: Radiator core is dirty or radiator cap is damaged. Clean radiator or change cap. Low engine coolant. Add coolant and check the components of cooling system. Fan belt is broken or worn. Belt change is required. Lack of engine oil. Add oil to the engine crankcase.

Diesel engine is losing power: Damaged or dirty injection nozzles. Service or change injection nozzles. Fuel hoses or lines clogging. Clean fuel hoses and lines. Clogged air cleaner. Carry out maintenance on air filter. Leaking cylinder head gasket. Gasket should be replaced.
