Kubota L4330 Engine Troubleshooting

Diesel hard to start or doesn't start: Fuel filter plugged. Clean or replace the filter. Air in the fuel system. Air bleeding. Fuel injection nozzles are faulty or clogged. Inspect nozzles and replace if necessary. Fuel injection pump is defective. Rebuild or install a new injection pump.

Engine shuts off suddenly while running: Wrong setting of fuel injection pump timing. Use the correct fuel injection pump timing adjustment. Fuel filter plugging. Service the filter. Engine has not warmed up to the recommended temperature. Warm up to required temperature.

Engine overheats: Radiator core is dirty or radiator cap is damaged. Replace cap or clean radiator. Lack of engine coolant. Add coolant fluid to cooling system and also check it for leaks.
