Shift forks are worn or bent. Change defective shift forks. Gearshift mechanism malfunction. Identify and replace failed parts.

Lack of transmission oil pressure: Insufficient transmission oil. Check transmission oil level and add oil as required. Dirty transmission fluid filter element (if equipped). Service or replace the transmission fluid filter. Defective relief valve. Install a new valve.

External oil leaks: Worn seals or gaskets. Change defective seal or gaskets. Transmission fluid level is exceeded. Excess fluid must be drained.

Hydrostatic Transmission Troubleshooting

HST transmission makes excessive noise: Bent or unadjusted speed control pedal linkage. Adjust or replace linkage. Transmission overloaded. Reduce the load is required. Insufficient oil level or contaminated oil. Change transmission oil or top up to proper level. Defective relief valve. Replace relief valve. Transmission parts are worm or defective. After disassembling and inspection, change defective components.

Transmission fluid overheated: Excessive transmission load. Reduce the load is required. Cooling components are damaged or clogged. Inspect all cooling components and replace or clean if necessary. Low oil level. Check transmission oil level and add oil as required. Plugged transmission oil filter. Clean or change transmission oil filter.

Lack of power: Transmission fluid insufficient. Add fluid to the transmission housing. Defective relief valve. Replace relief valve. Bent or unadjusted speed control pedal linkage. Adjust or change linkage.

External fluid leaks: Clogged transmission fluid return pipe. Clean or change return pipe. Seals or gaskets are worn. Replace worn gaskets or seal. High internal transmission case pressure. Change defective parts.

Kubota L4330 Hydraulics Troubleshooting

Hydraulic system overheated: Incorrect type of hydraulic fluid. Use the correct type of fluid. Contaminated hydraulic fluid. Change hydraulic fluid. Air in hydraulic system. Bleed air from hydraulic system. Main relief valve malfunctioning. Change relief valve.

Hydraulic fluid pressure is low: Insufficient hydraulic oil. Checking hydraulic oil level and add if necessary. Dirty hydraulic fluid filter. Clean or change hydraulic filter. Leaks in hydraulic pipes. Check the hydraulic system and fix leaks. Not adjusted hydraulic control valve. Need to adjust. Defective hydraulic pump. Install a new hydraulic fluid pump. Damaged hydraulic cylinder. Install a new hydraulic cylinder or repair it.
