Engine overheated: Defective radiator cap or clogged radiator fins. Clean radiator or install new cap. Coolant level is low. Fill radiator to proper level and check components for faults. Broken or loose fan belt. If necessary, replace the belt. Engine oil insufficient. Checking oil level and add if necessary.

Engine power is insufficient: Fuel injection nozzles are faulty or clogged. Check injection nozzles and replace if required. Restricted fuel hoses or lines. Fuel hoses and lines must be clean. Clogged air filter. Clean air cleaner element. Damaged cylinder-head gasket. Gasket should be replaced.

Abnormal engine noise or knocking: Engine is not warmed up to the required temperature. Warm up engine as required. Engine oil level is low. Add oil to the engine crankcase. Fuel injection pump timing is not adjusted. Use the correct fuel injection pump timing adjustment. Pistons are scored or worn. Pistons need to be replaced. Connecting rod is not aligned or worn. Replace or align connecting rod.

Engine stops while idle: Incorrectly adjusted low idle speed. Normalize low idle speed. The valve clearance is not adjusted. Check and adjust as required. Defective fuel injection pump. Rebuild or change fuel pump.

Low oil pressure: Low crankcase oil level. Check oil level and add oil as required. Worn oil pump. Replace as required. Plugged engine oil filter. Replace or clean engine oil filter element.

Kubota M7060 Transmission Troubleshooting

Transmission is excessively noisy: Worn gears or incorrect backlash. Replace defective gears or set backlash properly. Worn or bent gear shift forks. Replace the shift forks. Damaged or worn shaft splines. Change the shaft. Lack of transmission fluid. Need to add transmission fluid. Bearings are cracked or worn. Bearings need to be changed. Transmission oil is contaminated. Fill up with fresh transmission oil.

Gear shift is hard: Gear shift linkage is corroded or worn. Lubricate or replace the shift linkage. Clutch is worn or not adjusted. Adjust or replace the clutch. Shift forks are bent or worn out. Replace defective shift forks. Gearshift mechanism is damaged. Replace or repair the mechanism.

Insufficient transmission oil pressure: Low oil level. Need to add transmission oil. Transmission fluid filter is clogged (if fitted). Replace or service transmission fluid filter. Relief valve failure. Change the valve.

External oil leaks: Broken seals or gaskets. Change defective seal or gaskets. High transmission oil level. Correct the oil level.

Kubota M7060 Hydraulics Troubleshooting

Hydraulic system is too hot: Wrong hydraulic oil type. Fill up with the correct type of oil. Hydraulic fluid contamination. Change hydraulic fluid. There is air in the hydraulic system. Bleed hydraulic system. Damaged main relief valve. Relief valve must be changed.

Insufficient hydraulic fluid pressure: Insufficient hydraulic oil. Need to add oil. Hydraulic oil filter element is clogged. Change hydraulic filter element or clean if necessary. Leaking hydraulic pipes. Check the hydraulic system and fix leaks. Not adjusted hydraulic control valve. Need to adjust. Damaged hydraulic pump. Repair or replace hydraulic fluid pump. Hydraulic cylinder not working. Replace or repair hydraulic cylinder.

3-point hitch cannot be raised or raising is too slowly: Damaged hydraulic pump. Repair or replace hydraulic oil pump. Faulty main relief valve. Relief valve must be changed. Hydraulic spool valve block is defective. Install a new valve or repair it. Hydraulic cylinder malfunction. Change or repair hydraulic cylinder. Insufficient hydraulic fluid. Fill up the hydraulic fluid. Dirty hydraulic oil filter element. Replace hydraulic filter element or service if necessary. Excessive load on hitch. Reduce loading.

3-point hitch can't drop or drops too slowly: Defective hydraulic cylinder. Change or repair hydraulic cylinder. Not adjusted hydraulic spool valve. Need to adjust spool valve. Lift arm shaft is damaged. Install a new shaft. The hitch has not been adjusted. Adjust three-point hitch as required.

Jerky lifting or lowering of three-point hitch: Hydraulic oil is dirty. Hydraulic oil change required. Hydraulic pump not working. Install a new hydraulic fluid pump. There is air in the hydraulic system. Bleed hydraulic system. Faulty hydraulic control valve. Replace or repair the valve. Damaged hydraulic cylinder. Replace or repair hydraulic cylinder.

Kubota M7060 Steering Troubleshooting

Excessive free play of steering wheel: Worn steering column coupling or shaft. Change faulty component. Worn steering pump. Steering pump needs to be repaired or replaced. Loose or worn steering linkage components. Inspect and change as required. Faulty or worn hydrostatic steering unit. Check and replace as required.
