Kubota MX6000 Engine Troubleshooting
Engine starts up hard or doesn't start: Fuel filter element is dirty. Clean the filter element. There is air in the fuel system. Bleed the system. Fuel injection nozzles are damaged or dirty. Install a new kit of correctly balanced nozzles. Fuel injection pump is defective. Rebuild or replace pump.
Engine stalls while running: Timing of fuel injection pump is incorrect. Adjust according to specifications. Fuel filter element is clogged. Filter maintenance required. Engine is not warmed up to the required temperature. Warm up the engine.
Engine starts and then shuts off: Dirty fuel filter. Service or replace the filter. Fuel injection pump malfunction. Replace or rebuild injection pump. Air filter element clogged. Service or replace the air filter.

Fluid is contaminated or fluid level is insufficient. Pour fresh fluid or add transmission fluid to proper level. Relief valve malfunction. Replace relief valve as required. Worn or defective parts of the hydrostatic transmission. Change or repair defective parts.
Transmission oil over heats: Transmission overload. Reduce the load is required. Cooling components are plugged or defective. Check all cooling components and change or clean if required. Low oil level. Check transmission oil level and add oil as required. Plugged transmission oil filter. Service or replace the transmission oil filter.
Loss of power: Low oil level. Fill the transmission housing to proper oil level. Relief valve is stuck. Install a new valve. Worn or unadjusted speed control linkage. Repair or adjust linkage.
Transmission fluid leaking: Oil return tube is plugged. Clean or replace the tube. Worn seals or gaskets. Replace worn gaskets or seal. High internal transmission housing pressure. Change defective components.
Kubota MX6000 Hydraulics Troubleshooting
Hydraulic system is too hot: Incorrect hydraulic oil type. Use the correct type of hydraulic oil. Hydraulic fluid contamination. Change hydraulic fluid. Air in the hydraulic system. Air bleeding. Main relief valve is faulty. Relief valve need to be replaced.
Hydraulic oil pressure is low: Hydraulic fluid is insufficient. Fill up the hydraulic fluid. Hydraulic oil filter element is clogged. Change hydraulic filter element or clean if necessary. Hard Steering: Air in the hydraulic steering system. Bleed air. Steering filter is clogged. Clean steering filter element. Not enough steering oil. Check oil level and add steering oil as required. Tractor pulls to left or right: Hydrostatic steering unit has damage or wear. Repair or replace the steering unit. Faulty steering cylinder. Change or repair hydraulic steering cylinder. Incorrect toe-in. Adjust toe-in wheels. Steering linkage components are loose or worn. Repair or change steering linkage. Front wheel bearings are worn or incorrectly adjusted. Replace the bearings or adjust it properly. Tire pressure uneven. Inflate the tires correctly.
Kubota MX6000 Electrical Troubleshooting
Battery won’t charge: Electrical wire connections are corroded or loose. Service or tighten cable connections. Defective battery terminal connectors. Terminal connectors should be replaced. Battery failing. Use a new battery. Worn or loose belt. Adjust belt tension or change the belt.
Starter turns slowly: Low battery voltage. Charge the battery. Battery won’t hold charge. Service charging system or install new battery. Corroded battery terminals or disconnected wires. Connect wires properly or change terminals.
