ASV RC-30 Track Loader Troubleshooting

The ASV Posi-Track RC30 compact track loader is powered by 92 cu.in (1.5L) Perkins 403D-15 3-cylinder indirect injection liquid cooled diesel engine with a rated power of 31.5 hp (23.5 kW). The ASV RC-30 is equipped with a single-speed hydro transmission, radial-lift loader boom, 11" (280 mm) rubber tracks with embedded co-polymer cords, and elevated track drive sprockets. The hydraulic system has a pump with fluid flow rate of 10 gpm (38 lpm). The hydraulic pressure is 3000 psi (207 bar). The track loader has a rated operating capacity of 560 lbs (255 kg) and tipping load of 1600 lbs (725 kg). The maximum lifting height is 80.3 inches (2040 mm) to hinge pin.

Engine Troubleshooting

Engine hard to start or won't start

Air trapped in fuel system - Bleed air.
Fuel filter element is clogged - Service the filter.
Faulty or dirty injection nozzles - Check injection nozzles and replace if required.
Water in the fuel system - Change fuel and repair fuel system.
The valve clearance is incorrect - Have it adjusted.

Starter motor cranks slow
