Case TR310B Track Loader Troubleshooting

The Case TR310B compact track loader is powered by 207 cu.in (3.4L) FPT F5H FL463 vertical 4-cylinder direct injection turbocharged diesel engine with a rated power of 74 hp (55 kW) at 2500 rpm. The Case TR310B is equipped with a two-speed hydrostatic transmission, dozer-style undercarriage, and 15.7" (400 mm) rubber tracks with steel inserts. The hydraulic system has a pump with fluid flow rate of 24.2 gpm (91.5 lpm). The hydraulic pressure is 3050 psi (210 bar). The track loader has a rated operating capacity of 2170 lbs (984 kg) and tipping load of 6200 lbs (2812 kg). The lift height is 125.1" (3180 mm) to hinge pin, and dump height is 100.6" (2560 mm).

Engine Troubleshooting

Engine hard to start or will not start

Air trapped in fuel system - Bleed air.
Fuel filter element is clogged - Clean or change the filter.
Defective or clogged injection nozzle - Clean or change injection nozzles.
Water or dirt in fuel system - Drain, flush, and service the system.
Improper valve clearance - Adjustment procedure required.
