The Case TV370B compact track loader is powered by 207 cu.in (3.4L) FPT F5H FL463 vertical in-line 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine with a rated power of 74 hp (55 kW) at 2500 rpm. The Case TV370B is equipped with a two-speed transmission, vertical-lift loader boom, dozer-style undercarriage, and 17.7" (450 mm) rubber tracks with steel inserts. The hydraulic system has a pump with fluid flow rate of 24.2 gpm (91.5 lpm). The hydraulic pressure is 3050 psi (210 bar). The track loader has a rated operating capacity of 2590 lbs (1178 kg) and tipping load of 7400 lbs (3364 kg). The lift height is 131.6"" (3340 mm) to hinge pin, and dump height is 105.1" (2670 mm).
Engine Troubleshooting
Engine difficult to start or doesn't start
Air in the fuel system - Air bleeding.
Fuel filter plugged - Replace the filter element.
Fuel injection nozzles are faulty or clogged - Check and replace nozzles if required.
Water or dirt in fuel system - Drain, flush, and service the system.
Valve clearance is out of adjustment - Adjustment procedure required.
Fuel injection pump is not working correctly - Replace or repair injection pump.
Engine stalls after starting
Dirty air filter - Install new air filter element.
Fuel filter element is clogged - Clean or replace the filter.
Fuel injection pump is leaking - Repair any leaks.

Fuel injection pump is broken - Install a new fuel pump or repair.
Engine stalls while running
Engine is not fully warmed up - Warm up the engine.
Fuel filter element is clogged - Clean or change the filter.
Air in the fuel pipes - Bleed the fuel pipes.
Clogged or burnt injection nozzle - Install a new kit of correctly balanced nozzles.
Wrong setting of fuel injection pump timing - Adjust as recommended.
Engine stops at idle
Low idle speed setting is not correct - Adjust low idling as recommended.
Fuel injection pump malfunction - Change or repair the pump.
Defective fuel injectors - Clean or replace fuel injectors.
Incorrect valve clearance - Need to adjust valve clearance.
Diesel engine is losing power
Dirty air filter - Clean or change.
Fuel injection nozzles fault - Check injection nozzles and replace if required.
Fuel injection pressure is wrong - Correct the pressure settings.
Valve out of adjustment - Adjustment procedure required.
Low idle speed adjustment is incorrect - Adjust low idling as recommended.

Main bearing oil clearance is excessive - Bearings need to be reinstalled.
Oil pump failure - Check and replace if necessary.
Engine knocks or noises
Lack of engine oil - Check and refill engine oil.
Engine is cold - Warm up to required temperature.
Fuel injection pump timing is not adjusted - Use the correct fuel injection pump timing adjustment.
Incorrectly set low idle speed - Adjust the low idle speed.
Fuel injectors are dirty or defective - Clean or replace fuel injectors.
Faulty or misaligned connecting rod - Connecting rod needs to be replaced or aligned.

Machine is not moving forward or backward
Hydraulic fluid level low - Check and refill the hydraulic fluid.
Undercarriage tracks are blocked or damaged - Repair or remove blockage.
Relief valve malfunction - Repair or replace.
Hydraulic filter or suction line is dirty - Check, clean, or change if necessary.
Defective hand or foot controls - Check and repair as required.
Worn drive motor or pump - Replace or repair faulty component.
Machine is not moving straight or moving is jerky
Jammed or damaged undercarriage tracks - Remove jamming or repair tracks.
Tracks are improperly tensioned or faulty - Adjust track tension or repair tracks.
Debris, dirt, or foreign objects stuck in undercarriage track frame - Clean undercarriage track frame, remove foreign objects and debris.
Lack of power
Plugged hydraulic oil filter - Replace hydraulic filter.
Relief valve is defective or open - Close or change relief valve.
Worn or defective transmission parts - Check and change faulty components.
Stuck input drive shaft - Repair or install a new drive shaft.
Air leaks in hydraulic system - Bleed hydraulic system.
Drive system overheating
Low hydraulic oil level - Fill the system to proper hydraulic oil level.
Hydraulic fluid filter is clogged - Replace or service hydraulic filter.
Stuck relief valve - Repair or replace.
Drive pump or hydraulic motor malfunction - Repair or replace faulty component.

Scored cylinder tube or rod - Replace damaged component.
Hydraulic pump makes excessive noise
Insufficient oil level or leaking hydraulic system - Add hydraulic oil or correct system leaks.
Dirty hydraulic filter - Clean or install new filter.
Suction line clogging - Need to service the suction line.
Pump is sucking air - Air bleeding is required.
Pump components are faulty - Replace or rebuild the pump.
Battery will not charge
Loose or corroded cable connections - Clean or tighten connections.
Battery terminal clamps are defective - Terminal clamps should be changed.
Dead cell in battery - Use a new battery.
Belt is loose or defective - Adjust belt tension or change the belt.
Starter motor cranks slow
Low battery output - Charge the battery.
Battery won’t hold charge - Battery needs to be serviced or replaced.
Wires are disconnected or battery terminals are corroded - Check wiring and clean or replace terminals.
Starter doesn't crank
Battery is discharged or worn - Change or recharge battery.
Battery wiring is disconnected or improperly connected - Inspect wiring and connect as required.
Low battery voltage - Battery is drained, charge it.
Starter motor is faulty - Starter needs to be changed.
