Battery will not charge: Electrical cable connections are loose or corroded. Tighten or service cable connections. Battery terminal clamps are defective. Replace terminal clamps. Battery bad cell. Change the battery. Loose or damaged belt. Adjust belt tension or install a new belt.

Starter turns slow: Low battery output. Battery is drained, charge it. Battery runs out quickly. Service battery or replace it. Disconnected wiring or bad battery terminals. Check wire connections and change or service terminals.

Starter doesn't crank: Battery is discharged or worn. Recharge or replace battery. Battery wires are disconnected or incorrectly connected. Check wires and connect correctly. Battery power is low. Battery is drained, recharge it. Starter motor failing. Change or repair starter.
