Engine difficult to start or won't start: Fuel filter element clogging. Clean the filter or install new filter element. Air in the fuel pipes. Bleed the fuel pipes. Fuel injection nozzles fault. Change fuel injection nozzles. Fuel injection pump malfunction. Repair or change injection pump.

Engine stops suddenly during operation: Fuel injection pump timing is wrong. Adjust as recommended. Dirty fuel filter. Change filter element. Coolant temperature is low. Engine is not warmed up to the required temperature.

Engine starts but stalls suddenly: Dirty fuel filter. Service the filter. Fuel injection pump is faulty. Repair or replace injection pump. Air filter is clogged. Clean or change.

Engine overheating: Clogged radiator fins or leaking radiator cap. Install new cap or clean radiator. Low engine coolant. Fill radiator to proper level and check components for faults.
