Engine stops suddenly during operation: Improper setting of fuel injection pump timing. Adjust the pump as required. Fuel filter plugged. Change filter element. Engine is not fully warmed up. Warm up to required temperature.

Engine starts and then shuts off: Fuel filter element is dirty. Install new filter element. Faulty fuel injection pump. Repair or replace injection pump. Air filter is clogged. Clean air cleaner element.

Engine overheated: Radiator core is dirty or radiator cap is damaged. Change cap or clean radiator. Lack of engine coolant. Add coolant and check the components of cooling system. Fan belt is worn or faulty. Belt replacement is recommended. Engine oil level is insufficient. Fill up the oil to required level.
