Boomer 24 Engine Troubleshooting

Engine difficult to start or doesn't start: Fuel filter plugged. Filter maintenance required. Air in fuel system. Bleed fuel system. Fuel injection nozzles are faulty or clogged. If necessary, replace with a new nozzle. Fuel injection pump malfunction. Install a new pump or rebuild.

Engine shuts off suddenly during operation: Timing of fuel injection pump is incorrect. Set it up as required. Clogged fuel filter. Service or replace the filter. Engine not warmed up. Warm up engine as required.

Diesel starts but immediately shuts off: Clogged fuel filter. Clean the filter element. Fuel injection pump malfunction. Install a new fuel pump or repair. Clogged air cleaner. Clean or replace element.

Dirty transmission fluid or insufficient fluid level. Pour fresh fluid or add transmission fluid to proper level. Relief valve is damaged. Replace valve as required. Transmission oil over heats: Transmission overload. The load should be reduced. Damaged or clogged cooling components. Check all cooling components and change or repair if required.
