Engine starts hard or doesn't start: Fuel filter element is clogged. Service the filter. Air in the fuel lines. Bleed the fuel lines. Fuel injection nozzles are dirty or defective. Test injection nozzles and change if necessary. Defective fuel injection pump. Install a new pump or rebuild.

Engine stalls while running: Incorrect adjustment of fuel injection pump timing. Adjust according to specifications. Fuel filter plugged. Replace the filter element. Coolant temperature is low. Warm up to required temperature.

Engine starts but then stalls: Dirty fuel filter. Install new filter element. Fuel injection pump failure. Replace or repair injection pump. Clogged air cleaner. Service or replace the air filter.

Engine overheated: Clogged radiator fins or leaking radiator cap. Clean radiator or change cap. Low coolant level. Top up coolant fluid and check system for leaks. Damaged or worn fan belt. Fan belt must be replaced. Engine oil level low. Fill up the oil to required level.

Diesel engine loses power: Clogged or burnt injection nozzle. Test injection nozzles and change if necessary. Dirty fuel lines or hoses. Clean fuel system hoses and lines. Plugged air filter. Air filter maintenance required. Cylinder-head gasket is broken. Replace the gasket as required.

Transmission makes noise: Gears are defective or backlash is improper. Replace defective gears or set backlash properly. Shift forks are bent or worn out. Shift forks need to be changed. Shaft splines are stuck or worn out. Shaft need to be changed. Transmission oil insufficient. Fill the transmission housing with oil. Worn or cracked bearings. Bearings need to be replaced. Transmission oil is dirty. Change the oil.

Hard shifts: Stuck or worn gear shift linkage. Install new shift linkage. Improperly adjusted or worn clutch. Adjust correctly or replace. Damaged or worn gear shift forks. Change the shift forks. Gearshift mechanism malfunction. Identify and replace failed parts.

Low transmission oil pressure: Transmission oil level is low. Fill the transmission housing to proper oil level. Dirty transmission fluid filter (if fitted). Clean or change transmission fluid filter. Relief valve is damaged. Change relief valve.

Transmission fluid leaking: Damaged gaskets or seals. Install new seal or gaskets. Too much fluid in transmission. Excess fluid must be drained.

Hydraulic system is too hot: Wrong hydraulic fluid type. Pour the proper type of fluid. Hydraulic fluid is contaminated. Fill up with new hydraulic fluid. There is air in the hydraulic system. Bleed hydraulic system. Main relief valve is defective. Relief valve replacement required.

Hydraulic fluid pressure too low: Hydraulic oil is insufficient. Checking hydraulic oil level and add if necessary. Clogged hydraulic oil filter element. Clean the hydraulic filter element or replace if necessary. Leaking hydraulic pipes. Check the hydraulic system and fix leaks. Hydraulic control valve block is set improperly. Set properly. Steering wheel is hard to turn: Air trapped inside steering system. Need to bleed air. Dirty steering filter. Replace steering filter element. Steering oil level low. Add oil to steering system. New Holland T6080 Electrical Troubleshooting

Battery does not charge: Wiring connections are loose or corroded. Service or tighten cable connections. Faulty battery terminal clamps. Replace terminal clamps. Worn-out battery. Install a new battery. Defective or loose belt. Replace belt or adjust belt tension.

Starter motor turns slow: Battery capacity is low. Battery is drained, recharge it. Battery will not hold charge. Service charging system or change battery. Corroded battery terminals or disconnected wires. Check wire connections and change or service terminals.

Starter doesn't crank: Battery is drained or defective. Charge or change the battery. Battery wiring is disconnected or improperly connected. Inspect wiring and connect as required. Battery voltage is low. Battery needs to be recharged. Starter motor is faulty. Starter should be replaced.
