Transmission is excessively noisy: Improper backlash or worn gears. Install new gears and adjust backlash properly. Worn or damaged gear shift forks. Shift forks need to be replaced. Shaft splines are damaged or worn. Replace defective shaft. Low oil level. Need to add transmission oil. Worn or cracked bearings. Replace faulty bearings. Transmission fluid contamination. Transmission fluid change required.

Gear shift is hard: Rusty or worn gear shift linkage. Change or lubricate shift linkage. Clutch is faulty or misadjusted. Clutch needs to be adjusted or changed. Worn or bent gear shift forks. Replace the shift forks. Worn gear shifting mechanism. Repair or change worn components if necessary.

Steering is difficult: Air in the hydraulic steering system. Bleed air. Dirty steering filter. Clean or change steering filter. Steering oil level low. Add oil to steering system. Power steering control valve has damage or wear. Check and replace as required. Worn steering pump. Install a new hydraulic steering pump. Steering pump control valve is faulty or stuck. Battery won’t charge: Corroded or loose electrical wire connections. Clean or tighten connections. Faulty electrical terminal connectors. Install new terminal connectors. Battery failing. Install a new battery. Loose or defective belt. Replace belt or adjust belt tension.

Starter turns slow: Low battery voltage. Battery needs to be recharged. Battery is not holding charge. Service battery or change it. Battery cables are disconnected or terminals are faulty. Check cable connections and replace or service terminals.

Starter doesn't crank: Battery is low or faulty. Recharge or change battery. Wire harness is disconnected or incorrectly connected. Check wire harness and connect as required. Low battery output voltage. Battery is drained, charge it. Starter motor failure. Starter should be replaced.
