Engine starts hard or doesn't start: Fuel filter element is dirty. Change filter element. Air in fuel tank. Bleed fuel tank. Fuel injection nozzles are clogged or faulty. Install a new kit of correctly balanced nozzles. Faulty fuel injection pump. Rebuild or change fuel pump.

Engine stalls after running: Fuel injection pump timing is wrong. Check the fuel injection pump timing adjustment. Fuel filter element clogging. Replace filter element. Engine not warmed up. Warm up the engine.

Engine starts and stalls suddenly: Fuel filter element is dirty. Clean the filter element. Fuel injection pump is not operating properly. Install a new pump or rebuild. Plugged air cleaner. Carry out maintenance on air filter.

Engine is overheated: Defective radiator cap or clogged radiator core. Clean radiator or install new cap. Coolant level is low. Add coolant fluid to cooling system and also check it for leaks. Fan belt is worn or faulty. Change as required. Engine oil level is insufficient. Check and refill engine oil.

Engine power loss: Dirty or faulty injection nozzles. Replace injection nozzles. Fuel lines or hoses clogging. Clean fuel system hoses and lines. Restricted intake air. Service air cleaner. Leaking cylinder head gasket. Replace the gasket as required.

Engine knocking sound or abnormal noise: Engine not warmed up. Warm up engine as required. Low engine oil level. Need to add engine oil. Improper fuel injection timing. Set it up as required. Change transmission oil or top up to proper level. Defective relief valve. Replace valve as required. Transmission components are damaged or worn. After disassembling and inspection, change defective components.

Transmission oil overheating: Excessive loading. The load should be reduced. Damaged or clogged cooling components. Check all cooling components and change or repair if required. Transmission fluid level is low. Add fluid to the transmission housing. Transmission oil filter element clogging. Clean or replace the transmission filter.

Loss of power: Transmission fluid insufficient. Add fluid to the transmission housing. Relief valve is stuck. Replace relief valve. Speed control linkage is defective or unadjusted. Adjust or change linkage.

Transmission oil leakage: Plugged transmission fluid return tube. Service or replace return tube. Damaged gaskets or seals. Install new components. Transmission case internal pressure is too high. Change defective parts.

Hydraulics overheating: Hydraulic fluid type is improper. The proper type of fluid must be used. Hydraulic oil is contaminated. Fill up with fresh hydraulic oil. Air in hydraulic lines. Bleed hydraulic lines. Main relief valve is defective. Relief valve must be changed.

Battery won’t charge: Corroded or loose wire connections. Tighten or clean electrical wiring connections. Electrical terminal connectors are faulty. Terminal connectors need to be changed. Battery dead cell. Install a new battery. Loose or defective belt. Belt needs to be adjusted or changed.

Starter turns slowly: Low battery voltage. Recharge the battery. Battery drains quickly. Service charging system or replace battery. Terminals are faulty or battery cables are disconnected. Check cable connections and replace or service terminals.

Starter motor won't turn: Battery is discharged or worn. Charge or replace the battery. Disconnected or incorrectly connected wires. Inspect battery wires and connect correctly. Low battery output. Charge the battery. Starter motor is defective. Starter should be replaced.
