Engine starts hard or doesn't start: Fuel filter element clogging. Clean or replace the filter. Air in the fuel pipes. Bleed the fuel pipes. Clogged or defective injection nozzles. Clean or change injection nozzles. Fuel injection pump malfunctioning. Install a new pump or rebuild.

Engine stops unexpectedly during operation: Wrong setting of fuel injection pump timing. Check the fuel injection pump timing adjustment. Fuel filter plugged. Change filter element. Engine is not fully warmed up. Warm up to required temperature.

Engine starts but stops suddenly: Fuel filter element is dirty. Clean the filter element. Fuel injection pump is broken. Rebuild or replace pump. Plugged air cleaner. Replace air filter element.

Engine overheated: Radiator core is dirty or radiator cap is damaged. Clean radiator or install new cap. Engine has a lack of coolant. Add coolant and check the components of cooling system. Fan belt slipping or worn. Replace as required. Engine oil level is low. Check oil level and add oil as required.

Lack of engine power: Fuel injection nozzles are dirty or defective. Clean or change injection nozzles. Fuel hoses or lines are dirty. Fuel hoses and lines must be clean. Air filter is dirty. Clean or change. Cylinder-head gasket is broken. Gasket should be replaced.

Engine knocking sound or abnormal noise: Low coolant temperature. Warm up engine as required. Low engine oil level. Fill up the oil to required level. Fuel injection pump timing is not adjusted. Transmission noises: Defective gears or improper backlash. Adjust backlash properly or replace the gears. Worn or damaged gear shift forks. Install new shift forks. Worn or damaged shaft splines. Change defective shaft. Low fluid level. Fill the transmission housing to proper fluid level. Bearings are damaged or worn. Replace faulty bearings. Transmission oil is dirty. Transmission oil change required.

Hydraulics overheating: Hydraulic fluid type is incorrect. Pour the correct type of fluid. Hydraulic oil is contaminated. Fill up with fresh hydraulic oil. Air in the hydraulic system. Air bleeding. Damaged main relief valve. Replace relief valve.

Hydraulic fluid pressure is low: Hydraulic oil level low. Fill the system to proper hydraulic oil level. Clogged hydraulic oil filter element. Replace hydraulic filter element or service if necessary. Leaking hydraulic lines. Find leaks in the system and fix it. Hydraulic spool valve block is not adjusted properly.
