Engine hard to start or will not start: Fuel filter plugging. Clean or change the filter. Air trapped in fuel system. Bleed air. Fuel injection nozzles are damaged. Install a new kit of correctly balanced nozzles. Fuel injection pump is broken. Replace or rebuild injection pump.

Engine stalls during operation: Fuel injection pump timing is not adjusted. Set it up as required. Fuel filter element is clogged. Change the filter element. Engine is not preheated. Warm up to required temperature.

Engine starts and stops suddenly: Clogged fuel filter. Clean the filter or install new filter element. Fuel injection pump malfunctioning. Repair or install a new fuel pump. Clogged air filter element. Clean or change the filter.

Engine is overheated: Faulty radiator cap or dirty radiator fins. Install new cap or clean radiator. Not enough coolant. Top up coolant fluid and check system for leaks. Broken or loose fan belt. Change the fan belt. Engine oil level is low. Check and refill engine oil.

Engine is not running at maximum power: Fuel injection nozzles are faulty or clogged. Test injection nozzles and change if necessary. Dirt in the fuel lines or hoses. Clean fuel hoses and lines. Dirty air filter. Air filter maintenance required. Worn cylinder head gasket. Change cylinder head gasket.

Engine noises or knocks: Engine is not preheated. Normalize the temperature by warming up the engine. Low engine oil level. Checking oil level and add if necessary. Contaminated transmission fluid or low fluid level. Fill to required level or change the fluid. Relief valve failure. Change relief valve. Worn or defective parts of the hydrostatic transmission. After disassembly and inspection, replace defective components.

Transmission overheats: Excessive loading. Load needs to be reduced. Damaged or clogged cooling components. Inspect all cooling components and service or replace if necessary. Transmission fluid level is low. Need to add transmission fluid. Dirty transmission fluid filter element. Service or replace the transmission fluid filter.

Loss of power: Low oil level. Fill up the transmission oil. Stuck relief valve. Install a new valve. Bent or unadjusted speed control pedal linkage. Adjust or change linkage.

The spool valve should be properly adjusted. Worn hitch cross shaft. Replace the shaft. The 3-point hitch is not adjusted. The hitch must be adjusted.

Hitch lowering or lifting is jerky: Contaminated hydraulic oil. Change hydraulic oil. Hydraulic pump is defective. Change or repair hydraulic fluid pump. Air in hydraulic lines. Bleed hydraulic lines. Hydraulic spool valve block is defective. Install a new valve or repair it. Hydraulic cylinder is defective. Repair or install a new hydraulic cylinder.

Excessive free play of steering wheel: Worn steering column coupling or shaft. Replace defective part. Steering pump malfunction. Install a new hydraulic steering pump. Steering linkage components are loose or worn. Check and change as required. Steering control unit has malfunction or wear. Inspect and replace as required.

Heavy steering: Air lock in hydraulic steering system. Need to bleed air. Steering filter element is clogged. Change steering filter element. Steering fluid level is low. Battery cannot be charged: Electrical cable connections are corroded or loose. Tighten or clean electrical wiring connections. Electrical terminal connectors are faulty. Terminal connectors need to be changed. Battery is defective. Replace the battery. Loose or worn belt. Adjust belt tension or change the belt.

Starter turns slowly: Low battery power. Battery is drained, charge it. Battery won’t hold charge. Service charging system or install new battery. Battery terminals are corroded or wires are disconnected. Check cable connections and change or clean terminals.

Starter motor won't turn: Battery is drained or defective. Charge or replace the battery. Wiring is incorrectly connected or disconnected. Inspect wiring and connect correctly. Battery voltage is low. Battery is drained, recharge it. Starter motor is faulty. Starter should be changed.
