Workmaster 33 Engine Troubleshooting

Engine starts up hard or doesn't start: Clogged fuel filter. Replace filter element. Air in the fuel lines. Bleed the fuel lines. Clogged or defective injection nozzles. Clean or replace injection nozzles. Faulty fuel injection pump. Replace or repair injection pump.

Engine stops running suddenly: Fuel injection pump timing is not adjusted. Set the fuel pump timing correctly. Clogged fuel filter. Filter maintenance required. Engine is cold. Engine is not warmed up to the required temperature.

Diesel starts but stalls immediately: Fuel filter plugged. Replace filter element. Defective fuel injection pump. Replace or repair injection pump. Restricted intake air. Service or replace the air filter.

Engine overheating: Dirty radiator core or faulty radiator cap. Replace cap or clean radiator. Low engine coolant. Add coolant and check the components of cooling system. Fan belt slipping or worn. Change as required. Engine oil insufficient. Fill up the engine oil.
