Kubota B20 Maintenance Intervals

Every Ten Hours or Daily

Engine oil level checking procedure. If the oil level is too low, add new oil.

Check the transmission fluid level. When the transmission fluid is low, add fresh oil.

Check engine air filter element. Change if required.

Check the coolant level in cooling system. If the coolant level is low, add it.

Check engine speed, steering unit, service brakes and parking brake. Repair any malfunctions if necessary.

Every 50 Hours

Check and inflate tires as required.

Check battery condition. Charge or replace.

Check front axle oil level. Add if required.

Checking hydraulic fluid in system. Add oil if necessary.

Lubricate the rear and front wheel bearings.

Check tightness of wheel bolts and nuts.

Every 200 hours

Replace engine oil. Recommended oil - SAE20, SAE30 or 10W-30. How much is needed: Engine oil capacity (Kubota D950) - 4.1 qts (3.9 L). After changing the oil, check the level with a dipstick.

Replace oil filter. Engine oil filter part number: HH150-32094. When change the filter, cleaning the housing is recommended. When the filter is replaced, check the oil level. If necessary, add oil.

Change hydrostatic transmission oil filter. HST fluid filter part number: 32701-37950. When the filter is replaced, check the transmission fluid level. Add oil if required.

Check the engine air filter element and clean if required. Part Number: 15852-11082 (Single).

Clean radiator fins from dirt.

Inspect the drive belt and adjust the belt tension as required. Replace if belt is worn. Part Number: 15659-72532.

Check the tightening torque of the wheel bolts.

Every 400 Hours

Replace fuel filter. Fuel filter element part number: 1T021-43560. Check the correct operation of diesel fuel pump.

Changing transmission/hydraulic fluid. Transmission/hydraulic oil type - Kubota UDT or Super UDT, SAE 80W. Oil capacity: 30.6 qts (28.5 L). After replacing the transmission oil, check the level with a dipstick.

Changing transmission/hydraulic filter element. Hydraulic filter element part number - HH330-82630. After replacing the filter, check the hydraulic oil level. If after checking the transmission/hydraulic oil level is low, add it.

Check cooling system for leaks. Top up if coolant is low.

Check engine low idle speed. If necessary, adjust the engine idle speed.

Check and tighten the hoses and hose clamps.

Change front axle oil. Front axle differential case: 2.2 qt (2.1 L). Front axle gear case: 0.50 qt (0.47 L).

Check and adjust the parking and service brakes.

Replace filter and engine oil. Check and clean the lubrication system.

Change air filter element.

Replace HST transmission filter and hydraulic/transmission fluid.

Replace hydraulic/transmission filter.

Change the fuel filter by first drain water from fuel tank.

Clean oil cooler fins and radiator.

Flush the cooling system and add new coolant. Cooling system capacity: 4.2 qts (4.0 L).

Check all hoses and clamps.

Check battery electrolyte level.

Adjust engine valve clearance.

Check and adjust fuel pump.
