Kubota B21 Service Intervals

Every Ten Hours or Daily

Check motor oil level. If the engine oil level is low, fill in fresh oil.

Transmission/hydraulic fluid level checking. When transmission oil is low, fill in new oil.

Check air filter. Change if necessary.

Check the coolant level. If the coolant level is too low, add coolant in cooling system.

Check engine idling, steering, parking brake and service brakes. If malfunctions are found, repair it.

Every 50 Hours

Checking the air pressure of tyres. Inflate if required.

Check battery charge. Charge the battery if necessary.

Check front axle oil level. Add oil if necessary.

Lubricate front and rear axle hub bearings.

Check front and rear wheels. Tighten bolts and nuts as required.

Every 100 hours

Changing engine oil. Recommended oil type - SAE20, SAE30 or 10W-30. How much to fill: Oil system capacity (Kubota D1005) - 4.1 qts (3.9 L). Check engine oil level after replacement.

Check hydraulic system oil level. Fill as required.

Inspect the primary/secondary air filter elements and clean if necessary.

Every 200 hours

Oil filter changing. Oil filter part number: HH150-32094. When changing the filter, clean the dirt inside the filter housing. When installation is complete, check the oil level. If after checking the oil level is low, add it.

Clean the radiator grill from dust and dirt.

Check radiator coolant. Add coolant if necessary.

Every 300 hours

Transmission/hydraulic oil change. Recommended oil type - Kubota UDT or Super UDT, SAE 80W. How much to change - Transmission/hydraulic capacity: 30.6 qts (28.5 L). Add transmission/hydraulic oil to the upper mark on the dipstick.

Changing hydrostatic transmission oil filter (HST models). HST filter part number: HH660-36060. Check the transmission oil level after installing a new filter. Add transmission fluid if it is low.

Perform transmission/hydraulic filter replacement. Part number of hydraulic filter element - HH330-82630. Check the transmission/hydraulic fluid level after installing a new filter. Add oil if necessary.

Check drive belt tension. Adjust or change if necessary. Drive belt part number: 1G062-97012.

Check wheel bolt torque.

Every 400 Hours

Replace engine fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - 1T021-43560. Check the operation of injection pump.

Check or replacing engine primary air filter elements. Air filter part number - 6C060-99414.

Inspect engine secondary air filter element. Part number - 32721-58242. Change if required.

Check engine idling. Adjust engine idle if necessary.

Inspect all hoses and tubes. Tighten as required.

Change front axle fluid.

Adjust service and parking brakes.

Drain water from fuel tank and replace fuel filters.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Drain, flush and refill cooling system. Cooling system capacity: 3.6 qts (3.4 L).

Inspect all hoses and clamps.

Check battery charging.

Check and adjust valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust diesel injector pump.
