Kubota B7400 Periodic Maintenance

Every Ten Hours or Daily

Engine oil level checking. If after checking the engine oil level is low, top it up.

Transmission/hydraulic fluid level checking. When the transmission/hydraulic fluid is low, add fresh oil.

Check air filter. Install a new filter element if necessary.

Check the coolant level in cooling system. If the coolant level is low, top it up.

Check engine idle speed, steering system, parking brake and service brakes. Repair any malfunctions if necessary.

Every 50 Hours

Check tire air pressure. Inflate tires if required.

Inspect the battery. Clean the terminals as required.

Check front axle oil level. Add if required.

Check tightness of wheel bolts and nuts.

Every 100 hours

Engine oil change. Recommended motor oil type - SAE20, SAE30 or 10W-30. How much to fill: Oil system capacity (Kubota D722) - 2.5 qts (2.4 L). After changing the oil, check the level with a dipstick.

Inspect the air filter and clean if necessary.

Check oil level in the hydraulic tank. Add oil if necessary.

Lubricate the front axle bearing assembly.

Every 200 hours

Engine oil filter replacement. Filter part number - HH150-32430. Before installing a new filter, clean the filter housing from clogging. After replacing the filter, check the oil level. Add oil if necessary.

Inspect and adjust drive belt. Replace if belt is worn. Part Number: 1G027-97012.

Clean radiator fins from dirt.

Every 300 Hours

Change transmission/hydraulic fluid. Recommended oil - Kubota UDT or Super UDT. Transmission/hydraulic capacity: 12.8 qts (12.0 L). After installing a new filter, check that the hydraulic/transmission oil level is correct.

Hydrostatic transmission oil filter changing (B7400HSD). HST filter part number: HH660-36060. After replacing the filter, check the transmission fluid level. Add oil if required.

Replace filter in hydraulic system. Hydraulic filter element part number - 66021-36390. After installation, checking the hydraulic oil level is recommended. If after checking the hydraulic fluid level is low, add it.

Check wheel bolt torque.

Every 400 Hours

Engine air filter elements checking. Replace as required. Engine primary air filter part number: 6C060-99414. Engine secondary air filter part number: 32721-58242.

Change fuel filter. Engine fuel filter part number: 6A320-59930. Check injection pump adjustments.

Check cooling system for leaks. Add coolant if necessary.

Check engine idle. Adjust if necessary.

Check and tighten all hoses and clamps.

Change front axle fluid. Front axle capacity: 3.4 qts (3.2 L).

Adjust service and parking brakes.

Change engine oil and filter. Service oil system components.

Install a new engine primary/secondary air cleaner elements.

Replace HST filter.

Change hydraulic filter and hydraulic/transmission fluid.

Change the fuel filter by first drain water from fuel tank.

Clean oil cooler fins and radiator.

Flush the cooling system and refill with new coolant. Cooling system capacity: 2.9 qts (2.7 L).

Check all hoses and clamps.

Check battery charging.

Adjust engine valve clearance.

Check and adjust fuel pump.
