Kubota B2400HST/B2400HSD Maintenance Information

Kubota B2400 Maintenance Intervals

Every 10 Hours or Daily

Check the engine oil level. If the oil level is too low, add new oil.

Transmission fluid level checking procedure. If the transmission fluid is too low, add it.

Engine air filter checking. Change if necessary.

Check the coolant level in cooling system. If the coolant level is too low, fill the system.

Check engine idling, steering, service brakes and hand brake. Repair any malfunctions if necessary.

Every 50 Hours

Inspect all tires. Inflate tires if necessary.

Inspect the battery. Clean the terminals as required.

Checking the oil in front axle. Fill as required.

Lubricate front and rear axle hub bearings.

Inspect tractor for loose nuts and bolts.

Every 100 hours

Changing engine oil. Recommended motor oil: SAE20, SAE30 or 10W-30. Oil system capacity (Kubota D1105): 3.2 qts (3.0 L). Check motor oil level after changing.

Check and service engine air filter elements.

Check the oil level in hydraulic system. Add if required.

Every 200 hours

Changing oil filter. Engine oil filter part number: HH150-32094. Flush the filter housing before the filter element replacement procedure. When the filter is replaced, check the oil level. Add oil if required.

Clean radiator fins if fins are dirty.

Inspect the drive belt and if it is worn, replace it. Part Number: 1G879-97010.

Every 300 hours

Change hydraulic/transmission oil. Fluid type - Kubota Super UDT. How much is needed: Transmission/hydraulic capacity - 12.7 qts (12.0 L). After installing a new filter, check that the hydraulic/transmission fluid level is correct.

Hydrostatic transmission oil filter changing (B2400HST/B2400HSD). Transmission filter part number: HH660-36060. After replacing the filter, check the transmission oil level. If necessary, add it.

Replace hydraulic/transmission filter element. Hydraulic filter element part number - 66021-36390 (B2400) and HH670-37712 (B2400HST/B2400HSD). Check the hydraulic/transmission fluid level after installing a new filter. Add fluid if required.

Check the tightening torque of the wheel bolts.

Every 400 Hours

Replace diesel fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - 1T021-43560. Check the operation of fuel injection pump.

Check or replacing engine primary air filter elements. Air filter part number - 6C040-94240.

Inspect engine secondary air filter element. Part number - 6C040-94250. Change if required.

Check the coolant in radiator. If coolant is low, top up.

Check engine low idle speed. Adjust engine idle as required.

Check the tubes and hoses. Tighten as required.

Change front axle fluid. Front axle capacity: 3.9 qts (3.7 L).

Adjust parking and service brakes.

Change engine oil and filter. Check and clean the lubrication system.

Change engine primary/secondary air filter elements.

Replace HST transmission filter.

Install a new hydraulic/transmission filter and pour in fresh fluid.

Drain water from fuel tank, then change the fuel filter.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Flush the cooling system and add fresh coolant. Cooling system capacity: 3.6 qts (3.4 L)

Check all clamps hoses and hoses.

Check and service the battery.

Check engine valve clearance.

Check and adjust fuel injectors.
