Kubota B2601 Periodic Maintenance

Every Ten Hours or Daily

Motor oil level checking. If the engine oil level is low, add fresh oil.

Check the transmission fluid level. When transmission oil is low, fill in new oil.

Check air filter. Replace if required.

Check the coolant level in cooling system. If the coolant level is low, add it.

Check engine idle speed, steering system, parking brake and service brakes. If you found a problem, fix it.

Every 50 Hours

Check tire pressure. If necessary, inflate the tires.

Test battery charging. If the charge level is low, charge the battery.

Check front axle oil level. Fill as required.

Check fluid in hydraulic system. Fill as required.

Lubricate the rear and front wheel bearings.

Check tightness of wheel screws and nuts.

Every 200 hours

Replace engine oil. Engine oil type - SAE20, SAE30 or 10W-30. How much is needed: Engine oil capacity (Kubota D1105-E4): 3.3 qts (3.1 L). When the procedure is complete, check the engine oil level.

Oil filter changing. Engine oil filter part number: HH150-32094. When changing the filter, clean the dirt inside the filter housing. After installation, checking the oil level is recommended. Add oil if necessary.

Clean radiator surface from dirt.

Check drive belt tension. Adjust or replace as required. Drive belt part number: 16241-97013.

Check wheel bolt torque.

Every 400 Hours

Replace hydraulic/transmission fluid. Recommended fluid type - Kubota UDT or Super UDT. Transmission/hydraulic fluid capacity: 16.0 qts (15.0 L). Check transmission fluid level after replacement.

Replace hydraulic/transmission filter. Part number of hydraulic/transmission filter element - HH670-37712. When installation is complete, check the hydraulic fluid level. If after checking the hydraulic oil level is low, add it.

Replace engine fuel filter. Fuel filter element part number: 6A320-59930. Check diesel fuel pump adjustment.

Check or replacing engine primary air filter elements. Air filter part number - 6C060-99414.

Inspect engine secondary air filter element. Part number - 32721-58242. Change if required.

Check the coolant in radiator. Top up if required.

Check engine idling. If necessary, adjust the engine idle speed.

Inspect and tighten all hoses and clamps.

Change front axle fluid. Steering gearbox capacity: 0.20 qts (0.19 L).

Adjust service and parking brakes.

Replace filter and engine oil. Service lubrication system components.

Replace engine air cleaner elements.

Change hydraulic/transmission oil and filter.

Drain water from fuel tank, then change the fuel filter.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Flush the cooling system and refill with fresh coolant. Cooling system capacity: 4.0 qts (3.8 L).

Check all clamps hoses and hoses.

Check battery electrolyte level.

Check and adjust valve clearance.

Check and adjust fuel pump.
