Kubota B4200/B4200DT Maintenance Information

Kubota B4200 Service Intervals

Every 10 Hours or Daily

Engine oil level checking procedure. If the engine oil level is low, add fresh oil.

Check the transmission/hydraulic oil level. When transmission/hydraulic oil is low, add recommended volume.

Engine air filter checking. Replace if required.

Check the coolant level. If the coolant level is low, top it up.

Check engine idling, steering system, service brakes and parking brake. Repair any damage if necessary.

Every 50 Hours

Inspect front and rear tires. If required, inflate the tires.

Inspect the battery. Clean the terminals as required.

Checking the oil in front axle. Add if required.

Check oil in hydraulic system. Add if required.

Inspect wheels and tighten nuts and bolts if necessary.

Every 100 hours

Replace engine oil. Recommended engine oil: SAE20, SAE30 or 10W-30. How much is needed: Oil system capacity (Kubota Z600-A) - 2.4 qts (2.2 L). Add oil to the upper mark on the dipstick.

Engine air filter elements checking. Change as required.

Inspect and service diesel fuel filter.

Lubricate the rear and front wheel bearings.

Every 200 hours

Engine oil filter replacement. Filter part number - HH150-32094. Before installing a new filter, clean the filter housing from clogging. After installation, checking the oil level is recommended. Add oil if it is low.

Changing hydraulic filter. Hydraulic filter element part number - 66021-36390. When the filter is replaced, check the hydraulic oil level. Add hydraulic oil if it is low.

Replace engine air filter element. Part number - 70000-11221.

Inspect and adjust fan/alternator belt. Replace if belt is worn. Part Number: 70000-73818.

Check the tightening torque of the hub bolts.

Every 300 Hours

Change transmission/hydraulic fluid. Recommended transmission/hydraulic oil: Kubota Super UDT. Transmission/hydraulic capacity: 9.0 qts (8.5 L). Check transmission oil level after replacement.

Check engine low idle speed. Adjust engine idle as required.

Clean radiator fins from dirt.

Check the hoses and fittings. Tighten as required.

Every 400 Hours

Replace engine fuel filter. Engine fuel filter part number: 1T021-43560. Check injection pump settings.

Check radiator coolant. Top up if required.

Front axle lubricant change. Steering gearbox: 0.20 qts (0.19 L). Front axle differential case: 0.50 qts (0.47 L). Front axle gear case: 0.15 qts (0.14 L).

Adjust parking and service brakes.
