Kubota BX1500 Periodic Maintenance

Every 10 Hours or Daily

Check motor oil level. If after checking the oil level is low, add it.

Check the hydraulic/transmission fluid level. When the hydraulic/transmission fluid is low, add fresh oil.

Check engine air filter element. Replace with a new one if necessary.

Check the coolant level in cooling system. If the coolant level is low, top it up.

Check engine speed, steering unit, hand brake and service brakes. Repair any malfunctions if necessary.

Every 50 Hours

Checking the air pressure of tyres. Inflate if required.

Check battery charging. Replace or charge the battery if required.

Lubricate front and rear axle hub bearings.

Inspect the rear and front wheels. Tighten nuts and bolts as required.

Every 100 hours

Engine oil change. Recommended motor oil type - SAE20, SAE30 or 10W-30, SAE 10W-40. Oil system capacity (Kubota Z602-E): 2.0 qts (1.9 L). Check motor oil level after changing.

Checking the oil in front axle. Fill as required.

Checking hydraulic oil in system. Add if required.

Every 200 hours

Engine oil filter replacement. Oil filter part number: HH150-32430. When changing the filter, clean the dirt inside the filter housing. After installation, checking the oil level is recommended. Add oil if required.

Clean the radiator grill from dust and dirt.

Inspect the drive belt and if it is worn, change it. Part Number: 15881-97010.

Check the tightening torque of the front and rear hub bolts.

Every 300 Hours

Replace transmission/hydraulic fluid. Recommended transmission/hydraulic fluid: Kubota UDT or Super UDT. How much is needed: Transmission/hydraulic capacity: 10.8 qts (9.8 L). Check transmission/hydraulic oil level after replacement.

Replace hydrostatic transmission oil filter. HST filter part number - HHK20-36990. When the filter is replaced, check the hydraulic/transmission oil level. If after checking the transmission oil level is low, add it.

Replace hydraulic filter. Part number of hydraulic filter element - 66021-36390. When the filter is replaced, check the hydraulic/transmission oil level. Add oil if necessary.

Front axle oil change. Front axle differential case: 2.7 qts (2.5 L).

Check radiator coolant. Top up if coolant is low.

Every 400 Hours

Change engine air filter element. Air filter part number - K1211-82320.

Replace engine fuel filter. Fuel filter element part number: 12581-43012. Check the operation of injection pump.

Check engine idle speed. Adjust engine idle if necessary.

Check the fittings and hoses. Tighten if necessary.

Check and adjust the service and parking brakes.

Change engine oil and filter. Service lubrication system components.

Change engine air cleaner element.

Drain water from fuel tank, then change the fuel filter.

Clean oil cooler fins and radiator.

Drain, flush and refill cooling system. Cooling system capacity: 3.1 qts (2.9 L).

Inspect all hoses and clamps.

Check battery electrolyte level.

Check and adjust valve clearance.

Check and adjust injector pump.
