Kubota BX1830 Maintenance Intervals

Every Ten Hours or Daily

Engine oil level checking procedure. If the engine oil level is low, fill in fresh oil.

Transmission/hydraulic fluid level checking. When the transmission/hydraulic fluid is low, add fresh oil.

Engine air filter checking. Replace if necessary.

Check coolant level in radiator. If the coolant level is too low, fill the system.

Check engine idling, steering system, service brakes and parking brake. Repair any malfunctions if necessary.

Every 50 Hours

Inspect all tires. Inflate tires if necessary.

Check battery charge. Charge the battery if necessary.

Check front axle oil level. Fill as required.

Check fluid level in the hydraulic tank. Fill the hydraulic system as required.

Lubricate the front axle bearing assembly.

Tighten wheel bolts and nuts.

Every 200 hours

Changing engine oil. Recommended motor oil: SAE20, SAE30 or 10W-30, SAE 10W-40. How much to add - Oil system capacity (Kubota D722-E): 2.0 qts (1.9 L). After installing a new filter, check that the engine oil level is correct.

Replacing engine oil filter. Oil filter part number: HH150-32430. When change the filter, cleaning the housing is required. After replacing the filter, check the oil level. If required, add it.

Remove dirt from radiator fins with a brush.

Inspect and adjust drive belt. If the belt is worn, change it. Part Number: 15881-97010.

Check the tightening torque of the hub bolts.

Every 400 Hours

Change transmission/hydraulic fluid. Recommended hydraulic/transmission fluid: Kubota UDT or Super UDT. Transmission/hydraulic capacity: 10.8 qts (9.8 L). When the procedure is complete, check the transmission fluid level.

Replace hydrostatic transmission fluid filter. HST filter part number - HHK20-36990. Check the fluid level after installing a new filter. If necessary, add it.

Changing hydraulic filter. Part number of hydraulic filter: 66021-36390. After installing a new filter, check the hydraulic/transmission oil. If necessary, add it.

Check engine air filter element. Change if necessary. Air filter part number - K1211-82320.

Replace engine fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - 12581-43012. Check injection pump settings.

Check the coolant in cooling system. Top up if required.

Check engine idling. If necessary, adjust the engine idle speed.

Inspect all fittings and hoses. Tighten if necessary.

Change front axle fluid. Front axle capacity: 5.0 qts (4.7 L).

Check brake adjustment.

Replace filter and engine oil. Service lubricating system components.

Install a new air filter element.

Replace HST filter.

Replace hydraulic filter and hydraulic/transmission oil.

Drain water from fuel tank and change fuel filter.

Clean oil cooler fins and radiator.

Flush the cooling system and refill with fresh coolant. Cooling system capacity: 3.1 qts (2.9 L).

Inspect all hoses and clamps.

Check and service the battery.

Check engine valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust fuel injection nozzle.
