Kubota BX1860 Periodic Maintenance

Every Ten Hours or Daily

Motor oil level checking. If the engine oil level is low, fill in fresh oil.

Check transmission/hydraulic fluid level. When transmission/hydraulic oil is low, add recommended volume.

Check engine air filter. Replace if required.

Check the coolant level in cooling system. If the coolant level is too low, add coolant in cooling system.

Check engine idle speed, steering unit, service brakes and parking brake. Repair any damage if required.

Every 50 Hours

Inspect all tires. Inflate tires if necessary.

Check the battery. Clean battery terminals if necessary.

Check front axle oil level. Top up as necessary.

Checking hydraulic fluid in system. Add if required.

Lubricate the rear and front wheel bearings.

Tighten wheel bolts and nuts.

Every 200 hours

Changing engine oil. Engine oil type - SAE20, SAE30 or 10W-30, SAE 10W-40. How much to change - Oil system capacity (Kubota D722-E3): 3.1 qts (2.9 L). After installing a new filter, check that the engine oil level is correct.

Oil filter changing. Oil filter part number: HH150-32430. Before installing a new filter, clean the filter housing from clogging. When installation is complete, check the oil level. If necessary, add oil.

Clean the radiator grill from dirt and dust.

Check drive belt for wear. Change if necessary. Part Number: 15881-97010.

Check wheel bolt torque.

Every 400 Hours

Transmission/hydraulic fluid change. Recommended transmission/hydraulic oil type: Kubota UDT or Super UDT. Transmission/hydraulic oil capacity: 12.4 qts (11.7 L). After filling, check the transmission/hydraulic oil level with a dipstick.

Hydrostatic transmission fluid filter replacement. HST filter part number: HHK20-36990. After installing a new filter, check the transmission oil. Add fluid if required.

Replace filter element in hydraulic system. Part number of hydraulic filter element - K2581-36520. When installation procedure is complete, check the transmission/hydraulic oil level. If necessary, add it.

Engine air filter element replacement. Air filter part number - K1211-82320.

Change engine fuel filter. Engine fuel filter part number: 12581-43012. Check the operation of fuel injection pump.

Check cooling system for leaks. If coolant is low, top up.

Check engine idle speeds. If necessary, adjust the idle speed on the engine.

Inspect and tighten all hoses and clamps.

Front axle oil change. Front axle capacity: 2.4 qts (2.2 L).

Check and adjust the brake system components.

Replace filter and engine oil. Service lubrication system components.

Change the fuel filter, but drain water from fuel tank first.

Clean oil cooler fins and radiator.

Flush the cooling system and add fresh coolant. Cooling system capacity: 3.1 qts (2.9 L).

Inspect all clamps hoses and hoses.

Check and service the battery.

Check and adjust valve clearance.

Check and adjust fuel injection nozzle.
