Massey Ferguson 375 Periodic Maintenance

Every 10 Hours or Daily Inspection

Engine oil level checking procedure. If the engine oil level is low, fill in fresh oil.

Transmission/hydraulic oil level checking. When transmission/hydraulic oil is low, fill in new oil.

Check engine air filters. Replace with a new one if necessary.

Check coolant level in radiator. If the coolant level is low, add it.

Check engine idling, steering unit, service brakes and parking brake. If damages are found, repair it.

Oil And Filter Change

Every 250 hours

Replace engine oil. Recommended oil type: SAE 10W-30, 15W-30, 20W-20. API service classification SE, SF, CC, CD, SG. How much to change: Engine Oil Capacity - 8 qt (7.5 L). After completing the filling procedure, check motor oil level.

Change engine oil filter. Oil filter part number: 1447048M2. When replace the filter, flushing the housing is necessary. When installation is complete, check the oil level. If necessary, add oil.

Cab air filter checking. Clean as required. Cab air filter part number: 3478327V1/3614023V91 or 3595119M92/3596978M91.

Check engine primary air filter element. Service if necessary. Air filter part number - 3595500V1/3595503V1.

Inspect engine secondary air filter element. Clean as required. Part number - 3595501M1.

Changing hydraulic filter. Hydraulic filter part number: 3595175M1 (Spin-on), 1687042V91 (Lift Pump), 3771122V92 (w/ Tubed End). After replacing the filter element, check the transmission/hydraulic fluid level. If required, add it.

Every 500 Hours

Replace diesel fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - 3405419V1. Check the efficiency of fuel injection pump.

Steering oil filter changing. Steering filter element part number - 1662566V1. After replacing the filter, check the steering fluid level. If required, add it. Steering Oil Capacity - 2.1 pt. (1.2 L). Steering Oil Type - Permatran.

Every 1000 hours

Changing transmission/hydraulic fluid. Recommended fluid: Permatran 821XL, SAE 10W-30. How much to fill: Transmission/Hydraulic Oil Capacity - w/ Spacer: 12.5 gal (47.4 L), w/o Spacer: 11.5 gal (43.4 L). Fill with the new transmission/hydraulic fluid up to the upper notch on the dipstick.

Changing cab air filter element. Cab air filter part number: 3478327V1/3614023V91 or 3595119M92/3596978M91.

Front axle lubricant change. Front Axle Oil Capacity - 1.3 gal (5.0 L), Front Hubs: 2.5 qt (2.4 L).

Replace filter and engine oil. Check and clean the oil system.

Install a new engine primary and secondary air filter elements.

Change transmission/hydraulic fluid.

Change hydraulic filter element.

Replace steering filter element and add fresh fluid to steering system.

Drain water from fuel tank and change fuel filters.

Replace cab air filter.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Flush the cooling system and add new coolant. Cooling System Capacity - 4 gal (15.1 L).

Check all clamps hoses and hoses.

Check and service the battery.

Adjust engine valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust diesel fuel pump.
