Kubota B1550 Periodic Maintenance

Every 10 Hours or Daily

Motor oil level checking. If the oil level is too low, fill in new oil.

Transmission oil level checking procedure. When the transmission/hydraulic fluid is low, fill the required volume.

Checking air filter. Replace if required.

Check engine coolant level. If the coolant level is too low, fill the system.

Check engine idle speed, steering system, hand brake and service brakes. If damages are found, repair it.

Every 50 Hours

Check tyre pressure. If the tyre pressure is low, inflate the tyres.

Check the battery. Clean if required.

Checking the oil in front axle. Top up as necessary.

Check hydraulic system fluid level. Add oil to hydraulic system if necessary.

Check wheels and tighten nuts and bolts if required.

Every 100 hours

Change engine oil. Recommended oil type: SAE20, SAE30 or 10W-30. Oil system capacity (D850 Engine): 3.3 qts (3.1 L). After installing a new filter, check that the engine oil level is correct.

Lubricate the front axle wheel bearings.

Inspect and service air filter.

Every 200 hours

Changing oil filter. Oil filter part number: HH150-32094. When change the filter, cleaning the housing is required. After installation, checking the oil level is recommended. Add oil if necessary.

Clean the radiator grill from dirt and dust.

Check the tightening torque of the hub bolts.

Every 300 Hours

Changing transmission/hydraulic oil. Recommended transmission/hydraulic oil: Kubota UDT, Super UDT, SAE 80W. How much to add: Transmission/hydraulic capacity for B1550DT - 12.7 qts (12.0 L), B1550HST - 14.3 qts (13.5 L). Add transmission oil to the upper mark on the dipstick.

Hydrostatic transmission fluid filter changing (B1550HST). Fluid filter part number - HH660-36060. After installing a new filter, check the transmission oil. Add fluid if required.

Changing hydraulic/transmission filter. Hydraulic/transmission filter part number: 66204-36210. When the filter is replaced, check the hydraulic oil level. Add fluid if necessary.

Check drive belt tension. Adjust as required. Replace belt if worn. Part Number: 70000-73783.

Every 400 Hours

Check air filter elements. Replace if necessary. Air filter element part number: 15852-11082 (Single).

Replace diesel fuel filter. Engine fuel filter part number: 1T021-43560. Check injection pump settings.

Check radiator coolant. Top up if required.

Check engine idling. Adjust if necessary.

Check the fittings and hoses. Tighten as recommended.

Change front axle lubricant. Steering gearbox capacity: 0.20 qts (0.19 L). Front axle differential case (B1550HST): 0.50 qt (0.47 L). Front axle gear case (B1550HST): 0.15 qt (0.14 L).

Check and adjust the service and parking brakes.

Replace filter and engine oil. Service oil system components.

Install a new air cleaner elements.

Change transmission/hydraulic oil and HST filter.

Change hydraulic filter.

Drain water from fuel tank and change fuel filters.

Clean oil cooler fins and radiator.

Flush the cooling system and add fresh coolant. Cooling system capacity: 3.1 qts (2.9 L).

Inspect all hoses and clamps.

Check battery charging.

Check and adjust valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust diesel injection pump.
