Kubota B1700HST/B1700DT Maintenance Information

Kubota B1700 Service Intervals

Every Ten Hours or Daily

Check the engine oil level. If after checking the engine oil level is low, top it up.

Check the transmission oil level. If transmission oil is too low, fill in new oil.

Engine air filter checking. Install a new filter element if necessary.

Check the coolant level. If the coolant level is low, add it.

Check engine idling, steering unit, parking brake and service brakes. Repair any damage if required.

Every 50 Hours

Check tire air pressure. Inflate tires if required.

Check battery charging. Replace or charge the battery if required.

Check front axle oil level. Add oil if necessary.

Check fluid in hydraulic system. If necessary, add hydraulic fluid to the system.

Lubricate the front axle bearing assembly.

Inspect wheels and tighten nuts and bolts if necessary.

Every 100 hours

Changing engine oil. Engine oil type - SAE20, SAE30 or 10W-30 (B1700DT), SAE 10W-40 or 10W-30 (B1700HST). Engine oil capacity (Kubota D905): 3.2 qts (3.0 L). After filling, check the engine oil level with a dipstick.

Check front axle oil level. Add oil if necessary.

Check and service air filter elements.

Every 200 hours

Change engine oil filter. Engine oil filter part number: HH150-32094. Clean the filter housing from dirt before replacing the filter element. After installing a new filter, check the oil level. If necessary, add it.

Check and service air filter elements.

Clean radiator fins from dirt.

Every 300 hours

Replace hydraulic/transmission fluid. Recommended oil - Kubota UDT or Super UDT, SAE 80W. How much to change: Transmission/hydraulic capacity - 11.6 qts (10.9 L). After filling, check the hydraulic/transmission oil level with a dipstick.

Replacing hydrostatic transmission fluid filter (B1700HST). Transmission fluid filter part number: HH660-36060. Check the transmission fluid level after installing a new filter. Add fluid if necessary.

Change filter element in hydraulic/transmission system. Part number of hydraulic filter: HH670-37712. After installation, checking the hydraulic/transmission oil level is recommended. Add fluid if required.

Check alternator/fan belt tension. Adjust or replace if necessary. Drive belt part number - 1G879-97010.

Check the tightening torque of the wheel bolts.

Every 400 Hours

Check or replacing engine primary air filter elements. Air filter part number - 6C040-94240.

Inspect engine secondary air filter element. Part number - 6C040-94250. Change if required.

Change fuel filter. Fuel filter element part number: 1T021-43560. Check the correct operation of fuel injection pump.

Check cooling system for leaks. Add coolant if necessary.

Check engine idle speed. If necessary, adjust the engine idle speed.

Check the tubes and hoses. Tighten if necessary.

Front axle fluid change. Front axle capacity: 3.9 qt (3.7 L).

Check brake adjustment.

Change filter and engine oil. Service lubrication system components.

Replace engine prymary and secondary air filter elements.

Change hydrostatic transmission filter and fluid.

Change hydraulic/transmission filter.

Replace the fuel filter, but drain water from fuel tank first.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Flush the cooling system and refill with fresh coolant. Cooling system capacity: 3.6 qts (3.4 L).

Inspect all clamps hoses and hoses.

Check level of battery electrolyte.

Check engine valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust fuel injectors.
