Kubota BX2680 Service Intervals

Every 10 Hours or Daily Inspection

Motor oil level checking. If the engine oil level is low, add fresh oil.

Check transmission/hydraulic fluid level. When transmission/hydraulic oil is low, fill in new oil.

Checking engine air filter. Install a new filter element if necessary.

Check engine coolant level. If the coolant level is too low, add coolant in cooling system.

Check idle engine speed, steering system, service brakes and parking brake. If damages are found, repair it.

Oil And Filter Change

Every 200 hours

Engine oil change. Recommended oil type - SAE20, SAE30 or 10W-30, SAE 15W-40. How much to add: Engine oil capacity (Kubota D1005-E4): 4.23 qts (4.0 L). After filling, check the engine oil level with a dipstick.

Engine oil filter replacement. Engine oil filter part number: HH150-32094. Before replacing, remove dirt from the filter housing. After installing a new filter, check the oil level. Add oil if it is low.

Changing HST filter. Hydrostatic transmission filter part number - HHK20-36990. When the filter is replaced, check the transmission/hydraulic oil level. Add transmission fluid if it is low.

Change hydraulic filter. Hydraulic filter part number: K2581-36520. When the filter is replaced, check the transmission/hydraulic oil level. Add hydraulic fluid if it is low.

Check and clean the engine air filter. Part Number: K1211-82320.

Every 400 Hours

Change transmission/hydraulic oil. Recommended oil - Kubota UDT, Super UDT, or Super UDT-2. How much is needed: Transmission/hydraulic capacity - 12.1 qts (11.4 L). Add transmission/hydraulic fluid to the upper mark on the dipstick.

Replace diesel fuel filter. Engine fuel filter part number: 12581-43012. Check the operation of injection pump.

Replacing engine air filter element. Engine air filter part number: K1211-82320.

Front axle lubricant change. Front axle capacity: 3.8 qts (3.6 L).

Replace filter and engine oil. Check and clean the lubrication system.

Clean radiator and oil cooler fins.

Flush the cooling system and refill with new coolant. Cooling system capacity: 3.5 qts (3.3 L).

Check all hoses and clamps.

Check and service the battery.

Check engine valve clearance.

Check and adjust injection pump.
