Kubota L3800D Periodic Maintenance

Every 10 Hours or Daily Inspection

Motor oil level checking. If the oil level is too low, fill in new oil.

Transmission/hydraulic fluid level checking procedure. If transmission/hydraulic oil is too low, add recommended volume.

Check engine air filters. Replace with new ones if necessary.

Check the coolant level. If the coolant level is too low, add coolant in cooling system.

Check engine idle speed, steering system, service brakes and parking brake. Repair any malfunctions if necessary.

Oil And Filter Change

Every 100 Hours

Clean engine fuel filter element. Replace as required.

Service engine primary air filter element. Air filter part number - TA040-93220.

Service engine secondary air filter element. Part number - TA040-93230.

Check front axle oil level. Add oil if necessary.

Every 200 Hours

Changing engine oil. Motor oil type: SAE30, SAE 10W-30, 15W-40. API Service CF, CF-4, CG-4, CH-4 or CI-4. How much to pour: Engine oil capacity (Kubota D1803-M-E3) - 7.5 qts (7.1 L). Fill with the new oil up to the upper notch on the dipstick.

Replace engine oil filter. Filter part number - HH164-32430. Before replacement procedure, clean the filter housing from dirt. When the filter is replaced, check the oil level. Add oil if required.

Every 400 Hours

Change transmission/hydraulic fluid. Recommended oil type - Kubota UDT or Kubota Super UDT. Transmission/hydraulic system capacity: 29.2 qts (27.5 L). Fill with the new transmission/hydraulic oil up to the upper notch on the dipstick.

Hydraulic oil filter changing. Hydraulic oil filter part number - HH3A0-82623. After replacing the filter, check the transmission/hydraulic fluid level. If required, add it.

Change engine fuel filter. Engine fuel filter part number - 6A320-59930. Check the operation of injection pump.

Change front axle oil. Front axle capacity: 4.7 qts (4.5 L). Front axle oil: SAE 80W-90.

Change filter and engine oil. Service oil system components.

Clean oil cooler fins and radiator.

Flush the cooling system and refill with fresh coolant. Cooling system capacity: 6.3 qts (6.0 L).

Inspect all hoses and clamps.

Check battery charge.

Adjust engine valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust fuel injection nozzle.
