Kubota L5460HST Service Intervals

Every Ten Hours or Daily Checks

Engine oil level checking. If the engine oil level is low, fill in fresh oil.

Check transmission/hydraulic fluid level. When transmission/hydraulic oil is low, fill in new oil.

Check engine air filters. Change if required.

Check engine coolant level. If the coolant level is low, top it up.

Check engine idling, steering unit, parking brake and service brakes. If you found a problem, fix it.

Oil And Filter Change

Every 100 Hours

Clean engine primary air filter element. Replace as required. Air filter part number - TD270-93232.

Service engine secondary air filter element. Replace as required. Part number - TA040-93220.

Lubricate rear and front axle hub bearings. Oil Type: SAE 80W-90.

Every 200 Hours

Hydrostatic transmission filter changing. HST filter part number: HHTA0-59900. After installing a new filter, check the transmission/hydraulic oil. Add fluid if required.

Every 400 Hours

Changing engine oil. Motor oil type: SAE 20, SAE30 or SAE 10W-30, 15W-40. API Service Classification CC, CD, CF or CJ. Engine oil capacity (Kubota V2403-CRT): 10 qts (9.4 L). Check engine oil level after replacement.

Changing engine oil filter. Oil filter part number: HH164-32430. Clean the filter housing from dirt before replacing the filter element. After installation, checking the oil level is recommended. If required, add it.

Changing transmission/hydraulic oil. Recommended oil - Kubota Super UDT. How much to add: Transmission/hydraulic system capacity - 12 gal (45.0 L). Fill with the new transmission/hydraulic oil up to the upper notch on the dipstick.

Hydraulic filter replacement. Hydraulic filter element part number - HHTA0-37710. After installation, checking the transmission/hydraulic oil level is recommended. If required, add it.

Change engine fuel filter. Engine fuel filter part number: 1J800-43172. Check injection pump settings.

Change front axle oil. Front axle case capacity: 9.5 qts (9.0 L). Front Axle Oil: SAE 80W-90.

Replace filter and engine oil. Check and clean the oil system.

Install a new engine primary and secondary air filters.

Change hydraulic/transmission oil.

Change hydraulic filter and add fresh fluid to hydraulic system.

Replace hydrostatic transmission filter.

Replace the fuel filter, but drain water from fuel tank first.

Clean oil cooler fins and radiator.

Drain, flush and refill cooling system. Cooling system capacity: 8.7 qts (8.2 L).

Inspect all clamps hoses and hoses.

Check battery electrolyte level.

Adjust engine valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust fuel injection nozzle.
