Detach H130 Loader - Remove ballast box. Start John Deere 2720 tractor engine. Release parking brake and/or place transmission in NEUTRAL. Dump bucket 10-20° and lower to ground. Retract lift cylinders, raising front wheels 25-50 mm (1-2 in.) off the ground. Move both loader mast latches upward into UNLOCKED position. Extend loader lift cylinders until parking stand contacts ground, masts completely lift off frames and latches automatically snap into locked position. Engage tractor parking brake and/or place transmission in PARK. Shut off tractor engine and remove key. Disconnect hoses at couplers and install dust plugs and caps. Store hoses on lift cylinder. Start tractor engine. Disengage tractor parking brake, place transmission in REVERSE and slowly move tractor away from loader.

Attach and Detach Pin-On Bucket (If Equipped) - Bucket pins have two flat sides that must align with inner bucket hole. Spacers install on each side of top cylinder rods. Position tractor so loader boom aligns with lower pin holes. Engage tractor parking brake and place transmission in PARK. Shut off tractor engine and remove key. Install lower bucket pin and flange nut. Start John Deere 2720 tractor. Use H130 loader control to align cylinder rod with upper hole. Shut off tractor engine. Install upper pin with spacers on each side of cylinder rod. Tighten hardware to specification. Flange Nuts Torque - 150 Nm (110 lb.-ft.). Start tractor and verify operation of bucket functions. Detach bucket in reverse order.

John Deere 2720 tractor - Detach 220R Loader: Start the engine. Release the park brake or place the transmission in NEUTRAL. Dump the bucket 10-20° and lower to the ground. Retract lift cylinders, raising the front wheels 25-50 mm (1-2 in) off the ground. Move both loader mast latches upward into the UNLOCKED position. If equipped with a multicoupler, remove the hose bundle from the hose guide. Roll back the bucket level to the ground. Extend lift cylinders until the parking stand contacts the ground, masts lifts off mounting frames, latches automatically snap into the locked position. Engage the park brake or place the transmission in PARK. Shut off the engine. The 220R loader and implements can shift when the hydraulic pressure is relieved. Relieve the hydraulic pressure.

Removing 46 Backhoe - Start engine and run at slow idle. Lower stabilizers to the ground. Center boom and install swing lock pin if not installed. Remove boom locking pin if installed. Extend dipperstick and lower boom. Rotate bucket until top edge is parallel with ground. Stop engine. Remove step pins from both front hangers. Start engine and run at slow idle. Lower boom and stabilizers alternately, pivoting subframe on rear hanger, to lower front hanger end of subframe to ground.

Lower boom or stabilizers slightly to free rear mounting support of subframe weight. Drive tractor ahead slowly until both subframe hooks clear mounting support draft link pins. Lower backhoe until main frame is resting on ground. Park tractor safely. Cycle boom control lever to relieve backhoe system pressure. Disconnect hydraulic hoses: Disconnect backhoe hoses from tractor Power Beyond. Connect hoses together and store hoses out of way on backhoe. Connect Power Beyond hose to female coupler.

46 Backhoe Service Intervals

After Assembly - Lubricate all pivot points and grease fittings.
After Each Use - Clean backhoe of all oil and debris.
As Needed - Replace bucket teeth.
Every 10 Hours - Lubricate all cylinders. Lubricate swing frame. Lubricate boom pivot and dipperstick pivot. Lubricate bucket pivot and linkage.
Every 50 Hours - Lubricate stabilizer pivots. Check hardware torque.
Every 100 Hours - Clean inside valve covers.

Operate 47" Snow blower - Start the tractor engine. Push the dual SCV lever forward to lower the snowblower completely to the ground and lock it into the float position. Adjust the engine throttle setting to the rpm indicated in the tractor operator’s manual. Engage the PTO. Operate the snow blower at full throttle position for the best performance. Move the engine throttle to full throttle position. Unlock the tractor park brake. Begin forward travel slowly.

Disengage John Deere 2720 Snowblower - Stop the tractor forward travel. Adjust the engine throttle setting to the rpm indicated in the tractor operator’s manual. Run the snow blower for several minutes after blowing snow to prevent freeze-up of the auger and impeller. Disengage PTO. Push the dual SCV lever forward to lower the snowblower completely to the ground.

Remove Discharge Chute Cables - When removing the black cable shield an angle bracket falls from underneath the attachment. This bracket needs to be installed again when the black cable shield is installed. Park machine safely. Remove black cable shield and angle bracket by removing four locknuts and cap screws. Loosen locknuts on the discharge chute. For ease of assembly and proper cable routing, remove one cable at a time. Remove cables from attachment. Remove cables from pulleys.

Replacing Skid Shoes - Raise 54" blade. Put blocks under each end of blade. Lower the blade to rest on blocks. Lock park brake, stop engine and remove key. Remove spring locking pin. Remove Pin. Remove and replace one or both skid shoes as required. Skid shoes must be at same height on both sides of blade. Reinstall pin and spring locking pin.

Adjusting Skid Shoes - Park machine safely. Lock park brake. Stop engine and remove key. Raise the 54-inch blade and put blocks under each end of blade. Remove spring locking pin and pin. Move skid shoes up or down to desired height. Skid shoes must be at same height on both sides of blade. Reinstall pin and spring locking pin.

62D Mower Gearbox Changing Oil - Rotate idler arm counterclockwise to release tension off of belt, and remove belt from sheave. Remove four nuts, and remove gearbox bracket with gearbox. Check isolators for wear or damage. Remove washers on top of isolators and replace isolators if needed. Install washers before installing gearbox assembly. Remove plug on side of gearbox. Lift and turn gearbox bracket on side and drain oil from gearbox. Route belt around gearbox sheave as you install gearbox bracket on four bolts. Secure with nuts. Rotate idler arm counterclockwise, and install belt onto sheave. Fill gearbox with recommended oil.
