Attaching the Bucket or Attachment - Start JD 4052R tractor engine. Extend bucket cylinders to angle carrier forward. Align holders with hooks. Raise H180 loader until carrier engages hooks, then roll back bucket/attachment. Raise H180 loader high enough to check that straps engage pins on both sides. Shut off tractor engine. Remove quick lock pins from storage position. Install quick lock pins through bucket/attachment pins. Start tractor engine. Tilt bucket/attachment forward (extent bucket cylinders) and apply down pressure on bucket/attachment against ground to verify that the carrier is fully engaged. Lower loader to the ground and shut off tractor engine.

Detach D170 Loader - Raise boom slightly and dump bucket to 45° below level. Lower bucket to ground and apply slight pressure. Do not raise front tires off ground. Shut off tractor engine. Lower parking stands on both sides: Remove quick-lock pin and pin. Lower parking stand and raise support bracket toward boom. Install pin through support bracket and boom. Fasten using quick-lock pin. Repeat Steps on opposite side. If necessary, move tractor and adjust loader to ensure that bucket and stands are firmly on ground. Lower D170 loader until bucket and parking stands are flat on ground. Move bucket until pressure is removed from pivot pins. Do not raise parking stands off ground.

Shut off tractor engine and remove key. Remove quick-lock pins and pivot pins. Remove supports from tractor storage compartment. Avoid damage to lift cylinder rods. DO NOT allow rods to rest in supports. Hang supports on booms and place lift cylinder housings in supports. Install quick-lock pins on pivot pins and store pivot pins on hooks. Start JD 4052R tractor engine. Slowly back tractor away from loader. Turn off tractor engine and remove key. Disconnect hydraulic couplers. Install dust caps and plugs on coupler end. Store loader hoses on boom.
