SB1280 Snowblower Troubleshooting

Auger and fan do not turn - Check if an object is blocking the fan or auger. Check that PTO is engaged. Check for oil leaks. Check if pump is in recirculation mode. Check hydraulic pump oil level and add some if needed. Check that the input and output hoses are connected. Check that the input and output hoses are in the right position, if not reverse their position. Check if the flow restrictor is obstructed and replace if needed.

Auger and fan are turning in reverse - Check that the hoses are connected correctly to the hydraulic manifold and reverse their position if necessary.

Snow is not being ejected from the chute - Check if the snow output is obstructed, unclog with a 36" stick.

80-inch Snow blower clogs up easily - Check the viscosity of the hydraulic oil. Check hydraulic pump oil level and add some if needed. Check if the tractor engine is at full RPM. Check the hydraulic pressure of the system. Check the hydraulic flow of the system. Check if the flow restrictor is obstructed and replace if needed. Check if the sequence valve is working and adjust or replace if needed.

Shorten center link or lengthen lift links to provide clearance. Raise and lower RC2072 cutter slowly to check for binding or interference. Check cutter-to-tractor driveline telescoping length to ensure it does not bottom out. Modify driveline if necessary.

Disassembling and Assembling Driveline Shields - Separate telescoping parts. Remove driveline shield screw. Rotate cone to align tab with hole and slide shield rearward off of driveline. Assemble in reverse order.
