of loader high enough to allow pin to locate into holder strap on each
side of attachment. Install pin into pin on each side of attachment.
Position 410 Loader to Mount on JD
4200 Tractor - Drive tractor to side of loader and shut
off engine. Route hoses between loader boom and mounting frame (on
tractor). Cut wires that fasten lift cylinders to masts. Move control
lever(s) back and forth and side-to-side (if applicable) several times
to relieve system pressure. Connect couplers matching color-coded caps
on hoses and colors on coupler plate as outlined below: Red or Silver -
Bucket Cylinder-Head End, Yellow - Bucket Cylinder-Rod End, Green - Lift
Cylinder-Head End, Black - Lift Cylinder-Rod End. Place a minimum of 25
kg (55 lb) weight in the bucket before extending the lift cylinders.
Extend lift cylinders to raise 410 loader into mounting position. Shut
off tractor engine. Move control lever(s) back and forth and
side-to-side (if applicable) several times to relieve system pressure.
Disconnect couplers.

- Clamp lower hub of spindle assembly in a vise. Remove grease fitting.
Remove nut. Loosen sheave. Be careful not to bend flanges. Remove
sheave. Remove key and bushing. Press shaft from housing. Remove spacer.
Remove bearing using a knife-edge puller. Inspect shaft for excessive
wear or damage. If shaft or hub is not worn or damaged, it is not
necessary to separate. To separate, hold shaft in a soft-jaw vise and
remove hub. Use a 1-1/2-in. driver disk to remove upper bearing and
seal. Be sure disk does not press on snap ring. Remove snap rings. Clean
inside of housing with solvent. Be sure to remove all metal shavings and
grit. Check for wear or damage in bearing seating areas; replace, if
required.
