Install Rockshaft Assist (RSA) Mounting Plates - Support the mower deck if installed. Remove the mower deck pivot plates: Remove and retain nut and washer from carriage bolt securing pivot plate to lift arm on both sides of
tractor. Tractor RH side only: Loosen ROPS bolt and move spring bracket out of the way. Remove M16x40 cap screws and pivot plate (including carriage bolt, washer, and spacer) from both sides of tractor. Retain cap screws for use with mower deck if RSA mounting plates are removed. Install both mount weldments and pivot plates in bottom of rear axle with two M16x60 cap screws, and 5/8 in. washers. Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft). Install RSA mounting plates onto mount weldments from rear of tractor. Avoid pinching electrical wires. Loosely install two M16x45 cap screws and 5/8 in. washers in both RSA mounting plates. Loosely install M16x45 cap screw and 5/8 in. washer in RSA mounting plate and hex spacer on both sides of tractor.

Loosely install two M16x60 cap screws and washers in top two holes in both RSA mounting plates. Remove two M16x60 cap screws and washers securing mount weldments and pivot plates to bottom of left and right rear axle. Retain hardware for installation later. Remove and retain each pivot plate using a hammer and a punch. Install two M16x60 cap screws and 5/8 in. washers in bottom two holes in both RSA mounting plates. Tighten to 217 Nm (160 lb-ft). Install original M16x155 carriage bolt in square hole of pivot plate. Install pivot plate between mount weldment and bottom of tractor rear axle. Loosely install two M16x60 cap screws and 5/8 in. washers removed earlier. Tighten hardware. Install mower deck pivot plates on lift arms with original hardware: Install one washer on the M16x155 carriage bolt.

Insert carriage bolt through lift arm and add bushing. Insert carriage bolt through plate and secure with washer and M16 nut. Tractor RH side only: Move spring bracket back to its original position and tighten ROPS bolt to 138 Nm (102 lb-ft). Tighten the two M16x45 cap screwsinstalled into the threaded hex spacers to 163 Nm (120 lb-ft). Install fenders if removed. Mount rear wheels in widest tread width position. Inflate tires to maximum pressure recommended by tire manufacturer. Install Tall Folding Roll Over Protection System (ROPS). Install Front Loader. Install Power Beyond kit. Follow machine operator’s manual instructions to check hydraulic fluid level.

59" Snow blower Rotor Bearing Replacement - Remove rotor from housing. Loosen set screw in locking collar. Loosen locking collar by tapping it counterclockwise with a punch and hammer. Remove old bearing from shaft with flanges. Separate flanges and install new bearing. Slide bearing and flange assembly back on shaft. Reinstall rotor assembly in housing. Turn locking collar on bearing. Tighten locking collar by tapping it clockwise with a hammer and punch. Tighten set screw in locking collar.

272 Mower Powershaft Disassembly - Remove lock nut and cap screw. Remove power shaft joint from gear case shaft. Pull the halves of power shaft apart. Pry retaining ring out of groove. Slide shield off shaft. Spread ends of nylon bearing and remove from shaft. Slip retaining ring off shaft. Press in on nylon bearing to remove it from shield. Remove grease fittings from shaft. Place shaft in a vice. Remove 4 retaining rings from yoke. Drive U-joint out of yoke by using a rubber hammer. Pry retaining ring out of groove. Slide shield off shaft. Spread ends of nylon bearing and remove from shaft. Slide retaining ring off shaft. Remove grease fitting. Remove retaining rings. Support yoke in a vise and drive U-joint out of yoke with a rubber hammer.
