Kubota L2850D Periodic Maintenance

Every 10 hours or Daily Checking

Motor oil level checking. If the oil level is too low, fill in new oil.

Transmission/hydraulic fluid level checking procedure. When the transmission/hydraulic fluid is low, fill the required volume.

Checking engine air filters. Replace if required.

Check the coolant level in cooling system. If the coolant level is too low, fill the system.

Check engine speed, steering system, service brakes and parking brake. Repair any malfunctions if necessary.

Oil And Filter Change

Every 100 hours

Check engine primary air filter element. Replace if required. Air filter part number - 70000-11081.

Inspect engine secondary air filter element. Replace if required. Part number - 17381-11180.

Lubricate the rear and front wheel bearings. Gear Oil - SAE 80W-90.

Every 200 hours

Change engine oil. Recommended oil - SAE10W, SAE 10W-30, SAE20, SAE30. API service classification CC, CD, DS or DM. How much to change: Engine oil capacity (Kubota V1702-DI-A) - 8.9 qts (8.4 L). Fill with the new oil up to the upper notch on the dipstick.

Change filter element in hydraulic line. Hydraulic filter part number: 31391-38830/H3840-37712. Check the transmission/hydraulic fluid level after installing a new filter. If necessary, add it.

Every 400 hours

Engine oil filter changing. Oil filter part number: HH164-32430. Flush the filter housing before the filter element replacement procedure. Check the oil level after installing a new filter. If necessary, add oil.

Changing transmission/hydraulic oil. Fluid type - Kubota UDT or Kubota Super UDT. Transmission/hydraulic fluid capacity: 7.5 gal (28.5 L). Fill with the new transmission/hydraulic oil up to the upper notch on the dipstick.

Service engine air filters. Replace if required. Engine primary air filter part number: 70000-11081. Engine secondary air filter part number: 17381-11180.

Replace fuel filter. Fuel filter part number - 15521-43160. Check the correct operation of diesel fuel pump.

Front axle fluid change. Front axle case capacity: 6.8 qts (6.4 L). Steering gear case: 0.11 qts (0.1 L). Steering gear box: 0.21 qts (0.2 L).

Replace filter and engine oil. Service oil system components.

Clean oil cooler fins and radiator.

Flush the cooling system and add new coolant. Cooling system capacity: 5.9 qts (5.6 L).

Inspect all clamps hoses and hoses.

Check battery electrolyte level.

Check engine valve clearance.

Inspect and adjust fuel injectors.
